I'm new to the hobby and thinking of getting a savage or emax. I have the savage x and I was wondering if u knew the difference in durability if there is one
@fredsofthefuture The savage flux is a very durable car - maybe the best on the market for 1/8 scale rc cars; have a look at my other videos so u can see how durable it really is. The savage is more durable as i've had it for a year and it's withstood the beating i've given it; the e maxx on the other hand is much worse i've broken it 3 times and it can't be compared to the savage - the savage is much better built and it's much heavier, the e maxx is faster and has a better sounding transmition
@707Madmax Do you know if the e-maxx brushless edition body will fit on the 3905 e-maxx, i'm thinking about doing that. Please reply back. Thanks. Good video :)
@fredsofthefuture traxxas has better support than hpi, however traxxas products are usually less duarable, there are also more traxxas aftermarket parts for upgrades. comparing the two specific cars however, i would say the savage is slightly better
I'm tired of Nitro tuning and ready to make to switch to electric. I want to buy a brushless E-maxx but I'm not sure what LiPo's to buy. What would you suggest I should invest in that would give me great power ( not interested in going 70mph but it sounds cool) and last long, I'm not worried about spending money when it come to batteries. Thanks.
@mekque . Not to worry, the batteries i use are capable of 60mph easily and they're affordable, well made, good quality and they fir well, they're called 'overlander 3900mah 25c lipos 3s' hope this helped you, Thanks for commenting.
@jparks4081 it depends what u want to do, if u like bashing then the savage is better; if u like to race, ot if u want a faster car the e maxx is better, but the emaxx comes with nicad batteries and the savage does not. in my opinion the savage is better bulit - it's heavier and it's constructed better, but the e maxx is mostly waterproofed - except for the esc and the motor, but i prefer the savage cos i like jumping and driving rough, soo far i havent broken anything on it. but my bro has.
@707Madmax yes but what does the things do whe really all you need is torque control, steering adjustemt and the steering wheel and the acceleration??
I like the Savage more than the Emaxx. I like bashing and you have to do several upgrades to the Emaxx, while the Savage is bash ready out of the box. I have 3 Savage trucks now :)
which car is better?

Great video. But it's a little unfair to have a Savage with lipo and the Emaxx with just the regular battery. They would be even with equal lipos.
FruitMonsta180 5 months ago
@FruitMonsta180 sorry, but the lipos for the e maxx were not charged; so we coudn't use them - we had to use the powercells.

@RCCARTV100 it's a very hitec controller, the best on the market; the futaba 4pk - it's very good and advanced
