@kraljina888 You can buy TP in the lotro ingame store or you could do some deeds. Kill some orcs x/60. and you will receive turbine points. It's very easy to get 95 TP.

I have to say i LOVE wow, i LOVE lotr and i love nerdy stuff in general. Ive only played wow and uo as far as mmo's go, but since i have a deep love of lotr i wanna give the lotr game a go. Can anyone tell me, without getting into a wow vs warhammer vs lotr rant, how lotr compares to wow as in style of combat etc?
@mcbranigan84 The combat is more challenging thats for sure. Playing the healer or tank class in WoW is pretty straight forward but playing it in Lotro is alot more intricate. Tbo most of the classes in Lotro requires more thinking and strategy to get out their full potential. You also have alot more options to tune/build up your char and you can even switch builds from 1 raid to the next.
PVE in this game is miles ahead of WoW, but they still have some work to be done on the PVP part.
I'm glad they kind of stuck with traditional LOTR where theirs fields for a wide open battle yet their is a castle you need to besiege.. It kind of makes it feel like your having your own little mini Helm's deep battle or Minis tirith.. :D
and warhammer got their ideas from older pen and paper games or from books they have read no game is original never has been the only originality in mmos is the way they rip you off to play their games

@jokaza mapple story is the most played mmo, wow currently has 12 million accounts while mapple story has 62 million. (Not saying i like the game, in fact i dislike it a lot).

And LotRo is easily the best MMO/RPG game i have ever played in my life. Exspansive player-made music (with ingame instruments) and exspansive crafting system bigger then most i have seen, very interesting storyline, nearly infinite secondary quests and places to explore... its like living in a fantasy world. purely amazing

If your willing to pay a monthly fee then this is probebly the best MMO i've ever played, i've heard it being called "casual WoW" but this game is so much more in depth, the trait mechanic is so much more complicated then talents in wow. the fellowship manuevers are badass, pvp is unique since your not fighting the same classes that you play. and the crafting is fun for once, i mean litterally yesterday i crafted the entire day gained 0 xp did 0 quests, crafting is fun

Why don't you look at the date this was uploaded then use common sense and realise when DX11 was released then use your brain alittle and find post on LOtro forums stating DX11 UPDATE! and then use your brain once more to cilck "DOWNLOAD HIGH DETAIL CLIENT". Then actually get in the game, Stick it on 1080p (instead of 640x480 like this video is on) enable all on high anti alias and all, Then come back and give me a screenshot of ur fps

No. I'm not exactly a fan but the game has features completely different from WoW, different classes and abilities, setting, visuals, gameplay..
It being another MMO doesn't make it a copy of WoW.

@mariokart151 i don't really understand what you're saying now lol but a mmorpg is always the same looking like an other mmorpg. our choice of which MMorpg we like to play lays into the details. like the choice between warhammer online and lord of the rings online would be completely different for the more pvp type and the social type!

@mariokart151 firstly get your facts right WoW wasn't made "before any of these other MMORPGS" Never Winter Nights was the first MMOs or MUDs.
Secondly Halo and CoD are completely different. Apart from the fact that they are in the same genre.
every game copy idea's from other games these days take WoW and Warhamer for ex. RvR was from Warhammer and COD:black ops copied Halo:reach with File-sharing Etc..
Other games copy each others formulas to get there player based hooked/addicted.

@mariokart151 Well most mmorpgs. do use the same mechanics as wow. Wow had the most unique system. Untill another game comes out with it's own mechanic. A lot of mmo's use wow's. Aion does. Same interface type. lotro uses it. Guild wars.... alot

@ICAMPYOAZZ The founders of guild wars and a few of there staff used to work on wow before activision took over. And WoW got most of its ideas from everquest / dark age of Camelot in terms of gameplay / quests / pvp. So what if some company's and games use some tactics blizzard used. If it ain't broke..... don't fix it.
