If my memory isn't failing me (as its been doing) I believe this song never had or was played with a real drum from the day it was first recorded..

The drum sounds were originally synthesized I think from keyboards for this particular song..

So actually it isn't odd at all especially since it sounds like they are still using the same type of synthesized drum sounds..

@orangie84 I know I'm just given them a hard time. Some one just set me straight on that. It's called self playing drums. A new concept...not really :)

Actually I can think of many bands which use synthesizers and speed up their drum beats not making use of a drummer per se.
