  • He then proceeds to order an Aristotle of the most ping-pong tiddly in the Nuclear sub He then proceeds to order an Aristotle of the most ping-pong tiddly in the Nuclear sub

  • WARNING!!!!! TURN YOUR HEADPHONES DOWN BEFORE SWITCHING TO ANOTHER VIDEO!!!!!!

  • "thats fucking what"?

  • That's fucking what?

  • Tell me of I got this right....."He then orders an Aristotle of the most ping pong tiddly in the nuclear sub"

He orders a really strong drink with highest proof in the entire bar?

  • @Orangebike666 Yeah you got the jist of it but the comedy of it all is more about the rhyming - Aristotle is Bottle, Ping Pong is Strong and Nuclear Sub is Pub. There's a bunch of them in there.

  • @simnewmills I feel dumb now. The youtube controls on the video were blocking the subtitles at the bottom of the screen.

  • @Orangebike666 ah no worries, I grew up with my dad speaking like this. Also I just realised Tiddly means Tiddly Wink - Drink

  • @J4M3SPR No, what?

  • Now Faack off & watch it somewhere else! What a movie!

  • Danny john jules, cooler than the cat!!!

  • Gawdon Bennet! gotta love cockney. OK?

  • I love the way the have to translate the english accent in the subtitles xD

  • @CorMc09 its not the accent its the slang dumbass

  • @JaaaaaaaackW If your that thick that you don't understand the slang you should probably shoot yourself now

  • @CorMc09 maybe u should read my comment i understand the slang i was saying that the subtitles are for people who dont understand the slang if the subtitles were for the accent then there would be subtitles for the whole film u tit maybe u should think before u speak

  • @JaaaaaaaackW maybe you should read your own comment, you said non of that shite. Maybe you should read your own comment and think before you speak.

  • @JaaaaaaaackW u said they have to translate the accent which they dont they are translating the slang u bell

  • @JaaaaaaaackW

If you must correct a man, it costs nothing to be polite.

  • @JaaaaaaaackW Arguing with yourself on the internet, and losing... PRICELESS!

  • I refuse to believe anyone actually understands Cockney rhyming slang. It seems like you'd have to be psychic to know what the other person was referencing. It's not like "television" is the only thing that rhymes with "jelly," or that any reasonable person would assume "custard" means "custard and jelly." I'd think it's just custard. I'd never even heard of "custard and jelly" before.

  • @DonLangosta if it were easy for people to understand then that would defeat the purpose of having it

  • @DonLangosta it all depends on the context in which "jelly" is said etc

  • @DonLangosta yeah but a lot of the contractions are well known, without even knowing about the cockney rhyme. E.g, 'Having a butchers' (Butchers hook - look), on your tod (tod sloan - own). I say these all the time and never knew where it came from. same is true for many others...

  • One of the best scenes in the film :')

  • Love the subtitles.

  • I miss Red Dwarf and him as "Cat"

  • Roger Iron Rusted (Roger Mellie = Telly, Iron Rusted = Busted)

    Battle Cruiser = Boozer

No one's watching the custard (Custard & Jelly = Telly)

Fat geezer's NORTH opens (North & South = Mouth)

Turns the LIZA over (Liza Minelli = Telly)

    Jam rolls = Ass Holes

An ARISTOTLE (Bottle) of the most PING PONG (Strong) TIDDLY (Tiddly Wink = Drink) in the NUCLEAR SUB (Pub)

    Bird's Nest (Chest)

  • @sajmeister "Foota" , I've never heard anyone say that in East London. Footy yes.

  • @ojideagu It sounds more northern than east end, can't say I heard anyone call football "foota" either, footy - yes!!

  • It's rhyme slang. Think of the slang word you can't understand and rhyme it with something that makes a bit more sense. The subtitles help.

  • Roger iron busted??

  • Jam Roles?? Aristotles? WTF! cOCKNEY SLANG IS CONFUSING ME!!

  • @DG3744

    Jam roles = arseholes

    aristotle = bottle

    nuclear sub = pub.

  • @matewis1 FOOTA? I'm from East London and I've never heard anyone call football "Foota"

  • 'Nuclear Sub'?.. 'Rubber Dub', surely?

  • "Now FUCK OFF and watch it somewhere else" rofl

  • I love this movie.. especially the spoken words contrasted with the subtitles in this scene.

"He then orders an Aristotle of the most ping pong tiddly in the nuclear sub" LOL this kills me !

  • Rory's TV has busted, he's gone to the boozer, no-one's watching the telly.

A fat chap opens his mouth, he wanders up and turns the channel over.

"Please remove yourself from this bar"

Rory knows blood could be spilt, he walks straight past the arseholes.

He then orders a bottle of the strongest drink in the pub.

    "I've had enough"

    "Enough of what?"

He flicks a flaming match into his chest.

  • rory knows claret is imminent. classic

  • "An Aristotle of the most ping pong tiddly in the nuclear sub..."

  • It's The Cat from Red Dwarf (Danny John Jules)

  • Lock stock and snatch are probs in my top 10 all time fav movies, but cant say i liked layer cake or rocknrolla much aii.

  • i know a guy who did the exact same thing to someone but in his hair haha

  • That's my favourite part. 'Aristotle of the most ping pong tiddly in the nuclear sub.' I'm assuming that Aristotle is bottle, ping pong is strong, tiddly is drink (as in tiddly wink) and nuclear sub is pub.

  • Lock Stock, Snatch, Rock N Rolla....three great films

  • Aha! My thoughts appearing in someone else's post. Aren't they just like a great trilogy of British crime?

  • you've gotta look past the hair, and the cute cuddely thing.

  • 'Please remove yourself from the bar'

    haha

  • "He then orders an aristotle of the most ping-pong tiddly in the nuclear sub..." lol i wish i could talk like that.

  • Top film

  • "walks straight past the jam rolls that are ready for action.."

    haha

  • ive watched this like 30 times

  • that iz most spectacular, just can't stop to rewind and listen to it over and over again! epic:D

  • "He then orders an aristotle of the most ping-pong tidley in the nuclear sub..."

LOL!! man i love this movie...

  • Great dialogue. Why did Guy Ritchie marry Madonna and mess up his career!!!

  • This is one of my favorite movies. The dialogue is rapid fire and the British slang makes it fun to watch again.
