I have been listening to this video for over a year. I love it and have told all my friends that if they want to know me, all they have to do is give this a listen. It is probably the most beautiful music I have ever heard. The blended harmony is exquisite and the voices are so pure that it is a perfect backdrop for bringing love to fruition. @musicdirectorjim unfortunately, that's not exactly true. its a popular myth that barbershop quartets started in barbershops, but there is no evidence to prove this. According to a 1948 SPEBSQSA publication, "Barbershop harmony is a misnomer. There is no basis in fact that close harmony started in barbershops or was confined to barbershops." This myth was invented during the barbershop revival to "americanize" the art form. it's complicated to say the least.
