  • why didnt they let him write and sing more often. he is really good, his singing voice is better than waters by far. and he wrote some of thier most deep and beautiful songs.

  • Rick Wright should have written more Floyd Songs. How good is this?

  • Gosh, this was filmed in Brussels, Belgium! Cf. the Atomium in the middle of the picture from 1:55 to 2:06. Amazing!

  • I've read before that the Floyd didn't like the way this one was produced.

I still think it's a great track and I still don't understand why they were disappointed...

    ;)

  • Me transporto en el tiempo, que ßuena...

  • Rick Wright had such a beautiful and mellow voice. He's so missed.

  • Nick's fills are amazing on this one.

One of the greatest Rick-songs. He was a genius. R.i.p.

  • Brill copy of the vid Kaka.. brings back memories... the relics album was my fave when I was a kid, and I loved this one... thanks for posting.

  • Great song. Thanks for remember me of this, kakazimka. Rick was an so much underestimate genius. Folks, please enjoy his first solo album "Wet Dreams" on 1978. This record is a absolutly timeless masterpiece of music. Rest in peace, Mister Wright. We miss you...

  • I find that record too poppy, Broken China isn't a masterpiece but it's better.

  • I don't think it's poppy. Of course, this music differs from Floyd, but it's kind, gentle, warm, shy - as Rick was.

  • That description is for Broken China, not for Wet Dream. Wet Dream is pop for everyone. And it seems you misunderstood me. I'm not talking about Paint Box, which I love.

  • No, I understood your point of view. I'm talking about Wet Dream. As for me, It's distinctive and touches in very unusual way, but it's not poppy. Wet Dream may be called a bit ambivalent, while Broken China and Paintbox are both great - without a doubt.

  • @novosasch Wet Dream is an awesome solo album. Broken China was excellent as well. In fact, Rick wrote alot for Pink Floyd. His songs were often the best on all Floyd albums. Then on Animals Roger went on an "I'm Pink Floyd" trip and pushed Rick by the wayside. Then during The Wall sessions FIRED him. Roger turned into a megalomaniac that makes Axl Rose look like a giving guy by comparison.

  • Love this

  • R.I.P.RICK & SYD.

  • Great... my favorite Floyd: the "quitly Diamond..."

He touched us with your humbleness... miss you Rick...
