yes, this is the engine of the kart: Honda 270cc 9hp 4 stroke. Just read about difference about 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines, so this kart must have much more than 9hp, i guess like 50hp or so?
@ledjdm Lets just say they cost upwards of 2000$ (where im from) and need new rings and bearings every 60 hours if your lucky Ive had them pop a piston out the exhaust port after maybe 4 hours.
@ledjdm this ones more like 25hp but you can get kart around 50hp. 0 - 60 times are under 3 secs! there pretty awesome to race, but yea maintenance is very high on two strokes as they rev like crazy
i looked on their website and it says its 100cc... how can you drift with just 100cc? tried swinging the rear at a turn on a rented kart (275cc) and the kart did loose grip and went sideways, for like 1 second, then straighten lol
he uses clubman tyres on the rear, which apparently have very little grip and last for ages. more importantly is the technique, you can see the kart wants to straighten on him, but it's a matter of turning that into a transition the other way instead of just straightening. similar to getting in a corolla chassis after drifting bigger chassis'
Haha I was doing this the other day, mad fun
