  • Also would like to state enzymes in warm blooded animals breaks down rotenone.

  • Rotenone is not toxic to warm blooded animals. It is found in many natural plants and is great for a bug out bag if u ask me..

  • All this poison gets washed down stream and we all end up drinking this stuff, and our children will swim and play in it. They poisoned all of the Potomac to kill off the snakehead invasion, and the snakehead was the only thing that survived...

  • Omg we are gonna drink this too....

  • this is disgusting. how can anyone do this and sleep at night?!?

  • This makes me sick to my stomach. Unbelieveablely insane. What kind of level ofeducation have these people attained to make comments like"the animals that sustain themselves on the habitat of the lake "MAY" see a diminishment of their food supply". Let me get this straight. You just poured gallons of poison into a lake or river, completely annihilating everything without prejudice and you think the other animals won't notice?

  • It's HARD for me to see THIS !!! Catastrophic

  • Western or Islamic Capitalism will kill everything....

  • what i think people dont understand is that this is used in lakes and ponds with undesirable fish in them. if you have a lake with the good sport fish in them its fine, but when you get the fish that overpopulate and take up the resorces for the good fish, that lake or pond pretty much becomes useless because you cant catch the fish you want. the good fish dont populate and dont grow becuase they dont have the food. so they kill the fish and restock it with the desireable ones for better fishing

  • @jonflamion that is easy to understand but what is difficult to understand is what unknown consequences may occur to such a massive amount of poison being dumped into fresh water. Man is an arrogant asshole sometimes.

  • @bhitt99 if you look up Rotenone it was used by tribes people in the topics to poison fish for hundreds of years. its from the roots of some tropical plant. in waters above 70 degrees it vanishes quickly. like within 24-48 hours. little bit more for colder but not much. its harmless to warmblooded animals and works because it blocks the oxygen recepticals in the gills of a fish. pretty safe if you ask me.

  • Omfg my gov is such a pain

  • hmmmm i dont really care haha

  • I actually had to close my eyes during the frog part this time to ease on my nausea! My mom watched this video with me once and we both were crying by the end. I only wish that you would have more views. This is such an important subject and so many people disagree that Rotenone is a bad choice for managing invasive species. I recently posted a link to this video on a forum where everyone was arguing with my views on rotenone. After watching, they all shut up!

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I automatically loved you when I read your username!!!!! We shouldn't even have to prove that rotenone is unsafe...Just use common sense! It is naturally occuring in the roots of tropical plants, but NOT in WATER!
