@IIxDrum7 I got the M9 for whacky tones and extra Delays, but your right the M9 and M13 all have the same issue "Volune Drop" I' have JHV3 doing there "Vol Drop" mod to fix the issue! Thanks for watching!
@Ispikel It's really not as bad as you would think, staking pedals makes it easy as well., but hey to each there own right ?!? Lol I'm actually in the market for a HD500 for direct situations where I cant use a amp. I'm also looking to switch out this loop strip for a Cusack one that has presets! :) thanks for watching
Nice pedalboard bro. But in my opinion, I would take out the M9, because it is a digital stompbox. I just got an m13 about a year ago, and I am going to sell it because I want everything analog. My youth pastor used to have analog pedals and an m13 mixed and Ive heard it both, the digital just kills the tone. Im not saying you're doing anything wrong, because its your pedalboard and your tone that you want, but I am just giving my opinion. God bless dude!
@nymetsrock I love the giga delay. Just about every guitar player at my church has one. When I finally get a job and get some money, I'll be getting the Eventide timefactor. I've done a ton of research on it and I just love everything it has to offer. But for now, its drooling all over these nice pedalboards on youtube hahaha
honestly, i think all this stuff is great and it gives a great sound, but its too much work to be switching all the switches in between and during songs, im sure for the amount you paid for all this you could just buy a POD by line 6, and get even more for your money. but like i said, im sure it sounds great. just keep that in mind
@MatKiller1197 Why normally it would especially if every pedal was "TrueBypass" but this is one of the reasons I use the "Loop Interface" it keeps all those pedals/cable out of the chain and throws it in when I I need it to. Not to mention all the loops are buffered. Thanks for watching!
ok lets help this guy out he seems cool , ok your pedal board video should go a little sumthing like this , " hey guys this is my pedal board , had it for about x amount of months , THE SIGNAL PATH starts here with my SO IN SO that does this N that , then it goes into my SO in SO that adds this kinda effects .. ... .. you get it ? we dont just want to see it lol.. heres my board um ..derr
You must rock the roof off that church man - that is a very nice board - I'm still vascillating over the POG2 - expensive but just so much you can do with one - how are you getting on with it? like the hot cake too - a classic that is oftem overlooked these days - how do you rate the BB preamp plus - the original pedal is super sweet - did you upgraid to this one? - Thanks for posting man Cheers S. P. from the U.K.
I've heard pitch shift/octave pedals are better at the beginning of your chain, what would you say? aside from preference, what do you think would get the clearest signal? i getting an electro harmonix HOG, hence the question.
What would be the basic pedals I would need? I play for my church too but I have a Boss ME-70 but I want a pedal board like this. What would be the basic pedals I need? If you can help me that would be great. God Bless.
@salvadoor21 Well it really depends what exactly are you trying to accomplish. I know you can get some great tones out of the ME-70 with a little time. For me, the Best Place to start is a good amp! Thats where all your tone is. Then build of off a couple of Drives that suit your taste and a Solid delay pedal! Also I wouldnt listen to all the Hype of True Bypass or Buffer, to each there own, Trust your ear.
@salvadoor21 Basic effects are simply overdrive and delay. If you look at most boards on youtube, they are all for the most part a couple overdrives and delay and of course, a tuner. From there, it's up to you if you want other effects. Most people will include some sort of reverb and an octave generator as well, but it's all about personal style and tastes. You can really do whatever you want, just do research to determine what pedals you would need.
Are you going to explain what and why the pedals are there, and sort of give us a demo of how you actually use the setup? I'm trying to figure this out as well, bless, mark
@sbetancourt04 Cheers mate, alot people like me are newbies trying to figure out the whole thing, if you can also give us a demo on how you use certain pedals and the kind of sound you're trying to make.
@CodySaffelMusic Im basically run this board no different than any other board plus 2 more steps, 1st step is I always run any Comp Drives or Distortions through the Return and Send of the Boss NS2, not used as a Gate but as a Noise Suppressor, cleans up any unwanted hiss that a real high gain pedal may give, 2nd I run my drives through Loop 1-4 to make it easier for me to turn off and on. not only that by running pedlas through the Loop it cleans up my signal tremendously.
@CodySaffelMusic So even though my Drive pedals and DD20 are always on, it is as if My chain runs only through the Tuner, NS2, POG2, MMD, and M9 Making my signal chain shorter. which makes all the difference in the world! It doesnt sound, as if a blanket is over your amp! I hope this helps!
