@putdownan8dude Reid's got plenty of time; he clearly doesn't remember the lyrics. Kind of funny in a way, but professionally speaking, why play the song if you don't remember it? (This isn't Jimi flubbing a line in Like a Rolling Stone; Reid's making shit up as he goes along, including complete nonsense syllables.) I've always loved Reid's voice and his style, but he could be somewhat undisciplined as a vocalist. ("Just sing the damned song, Terry!")

Amazing! This most overlooked artist in history! To think Jimmy Page asked him to be lead singer for the New Yardbirds before Plant was even in the picture. The only reason he didn't take the gig was because his solo stuff was about to take off.

Terry opened up for Cream on there farewell tour at Chastain park in Atlanta about 1970. He was fronting his power trio, The Terry Reid Group. Incredible, class, power, charisma blue me out of my chair !

@shadownglass > correct, sort of ---1968! actually. two shows, afternoon and evening. Loudest bands ever. Terry Reid wooed the crowd, most of whom had no idea. Remember the folks on the roofs of all the nieghbors houses? Can't get that stuff no more. By the way, I was 10 years old, and loved both shows, for free!

Garden '69 also. Sat very close 10th row or so next to Leonard Bernstein and his daughter.I had a crank up movie camera. People were screaming "SIT DOWN". I saw Terry last year at Maxwell's, Met him, he gave me a hug and kiss and said. "We're still here man"What a gentleman.The club only allowed him a 2 min encore, to make way for some kiddie band, so he just stepped out into the audience.The man's got alot of soul, The Legend, Terry Reid. Look ! We're still here man.
