Good at taking set pieces, crossing, technique...i agree he won't be quick forever and his physique needs some improvement, but with intelligence and good positioning speed is a very overrated feature and also has a lot of variables that condition it...momentum, starting foot grip, etc. you get beaten once, you beat someone the next time

I'm not comparing Cannavaro's height to Giovinco's. I was illustrating the point that one doesn't have to be tall to be a great soccer player. Even for a position where having above average height is an advantage (eg. CB), being tall still isn't essential, as Cannavaro demonstrates.

In fact, most of the greatest attacking players in history have been BELOW average height: Hugo Sanchez, Maradona, Pele, Messi, Papin, Amancio, Muller etc. The list goes on.
