I have been teaching people for almost 5 years on the therapeutic effects of cannabis as medicine. The research I have found contradicts what you claim. Cannabis as a whole is safer & less toxic than Aspirin.

I dont know much about the good things marajuana can do for you but i do know that there are drugs that can do good for you in the right way. In honesty, i think marajuana itself is an illegal drug because its altered medicine.
@nice9008 Weed is the most non-altered form of medicine there is. Weed is a plant that grows naturally from the ground; Like a vegetable in your garden. I'm actually a pharmaceutical tech. If you'd prefer altered medicine, go visit your local pharmacy and pick up some synthetic drugs that were man-made by chemists in a lab. If you'd prefer real natural medicine, try some marijuana. It's not being hailed as a medical miracle by Doctors around the world for no reason.

I majored in Biotechnology. Jobs are hard to come across. I'd much prefer to put my degree to something more interesting and constructive; like genetic therapy mapping. That's why I took the program, not to work in a pharmacy.

Laws are meant to protect citizens and prevent people doing harm to one another. That's why it's completely ridiculous (and sometimes I think that just because it's illegal it's bad, then it hits me that there's no reason for it to be illegal!) to ban a plant! And call me an idiot, but I think we should legalize all drugs, even crack and heroin. It will stop people who haven't done anything wrong from going to prison, and it'll take away that "forbidden fruit" aspect which makes them appealing.

The only reason there is a massive underground market for pot is because the United States tries to implement moral behavior with laws. @ksalbrecht88 My duties are just basically assisting a pharmacist in preparing prescription drugs for the general public. Customers come up, show me their prescription, I get it ready, sell it to them. I work for a small privately-owned pharmacy in Ontario, Canada
I majored in Biotechnology. Jobs are hard to come across. I'd much prefer to put my degree to something more interesting and constructive; like genetic therapy mapping. That's why I took the program, not to work in a pharmacy.

I know all my customers, and the only ones who die, are the old people who die of natural causes and cancer. If it wasn't for Nitroglycerin, my customer's who have a heart problem wouldn't survive.

@BootyBot Taking into consideration that these cartels have many BILLIONS of $DOLLARS$ I think that if marijuana was made legal in the US, initially there would be a surge in violence in Mexico. It may even spill over into the US even more than it does now. BUT after about 10 years the cartels funds will eventually run out & they will become even more desperate. Manufacturing of other drugs will go up & missing persons cases will increase due to sex trade kidnappings replacing lost revenue.

With the amount of resent that the US government has towards drug smuggling I don't think that there would be a legal way of trading cannabis from Mexico to the US. I think if pot was ever made legal, only domestic sources would cultivate it.

@beaverB0B thats a little stereotype there, its just more fun, trust me i love weed still but i'd spend my money on boose cuz its more fun and im responsible with it, cuz i never drink and drive or anything, but with weed i only just feel relaxed which is why theres hallucinogens out there that complete my satisfaction on drugs that get u high, but look on the bright side, theres more weed for ya :D

Just by keeping people incarcerated for weed related crimes the U.S. wastes an incredible amount of money each year, now go ahead and explain to me how leglizing weed would cripple the economy if we tax'ed the fuck out of it (we will if its legalized)
