All those verses in the bible about the deity and trinity are not in the original manuscripts and that is fact even in some bibles it says that in the footnotes. Sad so many Xtians just accept whatever is tradition and whatever is said from the pulpits. Nothing wrong with questioning the traditions if you are strong in your faith.

If he was merely human, he could not have been perfect, and therefore could not have redeemed us of our fallen state. Jesus is God it's a trinity("Trinity" is a term that is not found in the Bible but a word used to describe what is apparent about God in the Scriptures. The Bible clearly speaks of God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit...and also clearly presents that there is only one God.

If we were to use math, it would not be, 1+1+1=3. It would be 1x1x1=1. God is a triune God.
