I am soo mad they didn't do test drives in Nashville! That's really unfair! I wanted to be able to do that. I registered for the event here in Nashville, but all I got was a hat and a T-shirt. If anyone has a Nissan connection, I'd love to be able to test one of these babies. I am seriously considering getting one! I live close to downtown Nashville and would totally benefit from having an EV. Charging stations would be close to my house!
People complain it makes no sound??They should allow the option of turning off the artificial sound(if inside) and replace it with a distinctive light (logo on the stearing wheel etc) thats only lit when the car is "on". I dont want a sound inside the car, a faint sound intended for pedestrians outside the car might be ok.
Are they going to add a small smoke generator in the back for people holding on to old habits and that arent used to cars making no gas/smoke???

An excellent car. I had a chance to drive the Nissan Leaf Test mule in the UK a couple of months back.

I believe that the sound inside is just for the ignition so that people realize they have started their car. After that, it'll be a quiet ride.
