Is this film symptomatic of the death of British comedy?

The truth is that the British film industry has become self absorbed, arrogant, delusional and complacent to the point that it is so sure that it can just dial back on badly produced dark comedies, with no regard to their box office to the point that we make the Hollywood industry look Avant Garde.

This film looks absolutely terrible. The significant thing about that is.. this is exactly the sort of plotline that can only be justified by being incredibly funny - like so much of the more innapopriate Monty Python and South Park material.

Though, probably not as bad as Sex Lives of the Potato Men.
