  • you need to slow down when you're talking holy shit are you on meth calm down otherwise it was a good video

  • @MrPaulluma Wow someone woke up on the douchebag side of the bed. Do you really get that worked up on a video about vegetable gardening? Ha!

  • Nice video. Good job

  • you should try pregnant onion growing

  • OMG!!! That's a lot of food! What did you do in the winter, then again I just started watching the series.

  • I actually didn't do any fall/winter crops. I didn't do any lettuce or early spring crops this year either.

  • @14dollarz

Been watchin your garden videos since the start, it's really cool to see your progession. Your harvests over the past few years always get bigger by a huge amount lol. How much more space do you think you've used From the first year and this years garden (2011)?

You got me into gardening haha this year I built a greenhouse and its amazing how much faster my veggie plants grow in there than the ground.

  • @Shorty413 Well it has probably tripled from the first year. I'm not sure of the exact square footage. Glad I could help you decide to start growing stuff. Always great to get those types of comments.

  • peppers can just be bagged and frozen whole...I've just found out, for future reference.

    Your produce is fantastic!

  • Great. I was also looking into doing some pickling this year as I should have over 30 pepper plants.

  • and now, here I sit in Manitoba, surrounded with snow lol and hungry for some fresh veggies lol...I'm giving your site a rest till I've had supper lol thanks for inspiration!

  • Thanks for watching. I created this channel to show other what i'm doing right or wrong so other folks can learn as i've learned on youtube

  • you did a great job !

  • Wow those peppers were so big!

  • This was an excellent series. I watched it from beginning to end. One thing you encouraged me to do was to be ruthless about getting rid of those things that are not working and replace them.

    Thank you!

  • Thanks,

I'll have a few more videos coming. My last one I was going to post got deleted before I could put it up, but I should have one out this week.

  • You are awesome! I love the videos, and I myself who likes gardening would want to talk to you about a few ideas! :-)

If you have a facebook account, please enter in the search for Robby Sabados and make me a Facebook friend! BTW, I'm the only Robby Sabados on Facebook.

  • wow your crops are beautiful! When I get my own place, I'm going to use your videos as inspiration for my own upside-down garden! Enjoy your veggies!!

  • Looks like the start to some crazy grilling and salsa.

  • Awesome! Thanks man that was just the kind of video I was looking for. Its great to see all the fresh veggies when they are ripe. I think that will inspire people grow their own garden. I'm enjoying lots of fresh tomatoes, and lots of Jalepenos are growin on my small apartment balcony. Keep up the vids, they're fun to follow.

  • Thanks for the comments! I'm looking forward to maybe showing some recipe videos soon. Probably in a couple weeks :).

  • Very nice harvest. Love your zucchini.

  • Over large Zucchini (marrow). Cut in half length wise or cut off the top, remove the seeds, and stuff with either a bread stuffing or a meat stuffing, same as you use for a chicken or turkey. Put everything back together, secure with skewers or string, then bake in a moderate oven for about an hour, or until cooked. Serve as either a vege side or the main. Very tasty. I actually let a few zucchini run to marrows just for this purpose.

  • Haha. No secret really. Each time I've made it a little different. I will probably make a video on it though.

Watering seems to be a question that everyone has. I'm still not an expert on it. All I know is it really depends upon where you live and how hot it gets.

Rule of thumb for me is if the soil has moisture about 3-4 inches down then I don't water.

  • Yeah! I wanna see your secret salsa! My Giant Marconi finally has a few peppers growing on it. I seem to have an over-watering issue with my pepper plants though. Perhaps an inch per week is not 8 cups / week of water.
