The best part about her is she doesn't care what people think about what she says. That is how leaders evolve. She's a leader. I don't agree with the "reality" TV movement one, its about as real as anything else on TV. However giving someone like Sarah Palin a wildlife show is a travesty she hasn't displayed any interest in teaching anything let alone about wildlife. I think we as a nation need to boycott our TV's and "reality" TV in general. Everyone, EVERYONE! has fantasized about someone else's death, don't judge, when you yourself have done the same. I doubt thats what Otep really wants anyways.

@Slipknotyk06 I totally agree. Whether a person likes Palin or not, (I'm not a Palin fan at all) joking about the death of someone is wrong. She's lost a lot of respect for DC for THIS show? What about Jon & Kate Plus 8? I feel like those children were exploited (& still are ALA Kate plus 8). I guess that isn't a reason enough to be outraged with Discovery channel for Otep (It has to be something in regard to a politician she happens to hate). I don't respect much of what Otep says now either.

@Mzgriffy - What Otep needs to remember is that some of her listeners are right wing (especially Anarchists) and that if she opens her mouth too wide she will be boycotted too.

As for Discovery, they have the right to run the programming that they choose. Jon & Kate + 8 does raise some moral issues. However, this is straying off topic. Otep CLEARLY doesn't know Palin's record of fighting against oil companies, and corruption in Alaska; which has actually saved many animals.
