I enjoy these Simon Reeve docs because I get to see places I'm unlikely to ever visit. I think he is well meaning but really quite an ignorant little shit and very annoying at times. The choice of 'Baby Please Don't Go' by Them when entering a US controlled area was stunningly inappropriate (Van Morrison was the main man behind 'Them' and Irish!). I also noted in a different production that he referred to hearts of palm as 'artichoke hearts'. How fucking stupid is that?
