I do not think we need to scrape that stomach part. It is just delicious without scraping. More important is cleaning the intestines, better to tear whole intestine with a small knife and clean in hot water.
oh sanjay! u shud add gongura paste made out of boiled gongura leaves, greenchillies, to this curry, wow! then u will really scream, jambalika jiya choo...it will be really yummy...its our nellore taste! we call it, gongura, boti curry!
its actually very good, its just not in american culture. and most americans are very culturely obtuse and tend to shun anything that is not in american customs, which is why they are arrogant.
in our country we boil this first and then cut into very small peices like shedded stuff and use lots of chilli, garlic and onion.........lots of people like this thing .....i can cook but never try it.......
I love chicken gizzards and hearts.I love beef tripe. I dont like taste or smell of pig intestines.I dont know what animal You used. The seasoning looks Great and I would TRY this. I cannot make Opinion without first tasting it.
JAMBLAKA JI YAAA CHOO OOH....!!!! This explains how much Sanjay likes the dish and how much he is excited about cooking it and devouring it all....I am convinced about this dish and would love to try it out....yummy....Good one Sanjay....JAMBLAKA JI YAAA CHOO OOH....!!!!
I only know the first word ... "Namaste" which roughly translates as "the divine in me greets the divine in you". No idea about the rest of Sanjay's regular opening line but I would love to know what it all means too.
Mayaf6, HI there. I have been friends with and been to many functions of East indians, .. Mainly the SIKHS for over 10 years now. I'm actually VERY familiar with the Punjabi/Sikh "Sat Sri Akaal" greeting. Even my screenname "gorikuri" means "fair skinned girl" in Punjabi.
I was asking about 27 seconds FURTHER into the video. I'm not that familiar with SOUTH Indian languages. If you can tell me what he is saying, I would very much appreciate it. ;-)
You will have to ask Sanjay what Jamblaka ji yaa choo (I have not heard it been said in Tamil, it could be a Telegu (Andra) expression. Unfortunately, I don't speak this language.
My native language is the same as the chef's. What he says at 0.27 is not any greeting and it does not have any meaning. Its just some random made up phrase to show his happy emotions.
dear all pls do not add comments about food u dont know about.if u dont eat what vahchef has cooked just let it be.u can enjoy what u like. our dear chef is universal in his cooking pls let him continue in his way.thank u vahchef for everything u cook.
whatever you said at the end ....yaaa! I agree. Here we call some of that stuff chittlin's (intestines). I love it. I haven't tried the curry yet, but that will be on my list for the next time we fix'em up here in Virginia. Try them pickled - they're great!
I don't think there's anything wrong with eating glizzards, i think most of us take meat for granted already. we really shouldn't waste food. Glizzards are actually more flavoursome than the meat itself, for those who hasn't tried eating any, i recommend you guys to try it at least once.
where i come from they have similar dish to this one i have never neveeer dared to try it , and when ever i see my mother doing it i cant stand the smell its horrible.. people love this thing over there tho.
i dont know about others but iam a hardcore fan of this guy,the way he cooks and explains always inspires others to cook.
mr sanjay thumma we appreciate your work towards cooking and everytime i cook i always look at your recipes.
many many thanks.

If you are to eat an animal you should do it the
justice of using all of it instead of wasting it.

Its welcome, the form of greeting in Hindi, Arabic (greeting used by Muslims), Tamil, Punjabi
mayaf6 2 years ago
Would you happen to know what each word is and have a rough translation of them into English please? Thanks =)
CaptainFrantic 2 years ago
Namaste, namaskar or namaskaram - bow to you or pay homage to you
Vanakam - simply means Welcome or Hello.
Assalamailaikum - Peace be with you
Sat Sri Akaal - Truth is God

Assalamu 'alaikum means peace be upon you

i know some tamil , vanakam simply means hello,
as for namaste captainfrantic ,colloquilly we just use it as a hello ,meaning we dont actually mean all that you said when greeting with a "namaste"
another greeting in an indian language is "namaskaram",from the language malayalam (my mother tongue)
