I have this amp and it rocks, just got back from a rehearsal and ran the vypyr through a 5150 cabinet and my God this thing sounds freaking good for a $429 amp

I have a Dsl 100 that sounds ok but this thing sounds better

I have the exact same guitar and im looking to upgrade the pickups, you have nailed it! Can you tell me what you have put and in what position, im guessing a Chopper in the bridge position?

Thanks. I have Super Distortion in Bridge, Pro Track in Mid and Fast Track 2 in Neck. It's a HOT setup for a strat. I have a push pull pot that switches mid and neck to single coil mode.

I've got teh Tube Vypyr 60 and I can back this guy up and tell you it is an awesome amp. I love this thing and hope to post some videos soon. I'm currently learning 'Into The Sky' by Joe Satriani. It's gonna sound awesome on the Vypyr's JSX amp model.

Thx. I'm very happy with the Vypyr. The volume knob goes to 13 but I can only play at 2 cuz it shakes the house above that. I mostly play thru headphones so I don't quite get to enjoy the tubes as much that way. Get one!

@gnrmetallica95 I think I spent around $550 for both. Bought the vypyr new and the sampera on ebay used.
