  • too much sugar! i'm shocked!

  • ok, I have Saeco Nina (not Bar and not Plus). It would be very unlikely it would be any different I hope.

I live in Japan where buying portafilter is next to impossible (and tampers cost 4-5 times as much) so need to do a lot of research before ordering it in the U.S.

Well, I will probably try with Gaggia bottomless, filing it a little is not a problem.

    Thanks a lot.

  • @kubatyszko

so the portafilters of gaggia classic coffee should fit too,..

it is the same brewing module,... i give you a adress of a german shop, thats where i bought mine

i´m sure if you ask, they ship to japan for extra cost of course,...

    espressoxxl,de

go on "KONTAKT" and write them a email,

upper window with "Ihre Email Adresse" is for "your email adress",..

middle Window "Thema" is for "Theme" just leave it the way it is,..

lower window with "ihre Fragen"means "your quest"

  • @kubatyszko and ask for new filters too,...the ones of the saeco nina have only one hole,so the coffe will not float, it will spread all over your kitchen,... ;-) i know it yet,...

you need the usual filters of gaggia classic coffe,...

    7 gramms and 14 gramms

for one shot, and double shot.

the bottomless portafilter comes with a 21 gramms filter, for a triple shot...

  • but the portafilter must have some basket no ?

what size is it ? is it 57 or 58 ? (I'm having hard time figuring this out, different sources state different size).

    Thanks

  • @kubatyszko

no the basket is not a must, you can buy this ones usually as everyone else, it is called "bottomless Portafilter"

    This one is for Gaggia

The old Saeco Nina Bar and Gaggia Classic Coffe have the same Brewing module with 58 mm.

But i had to moderate the portafilter a bit at the edges with a metal file, that it fits better.

  • what portafilter and basket did you use ?

  • @kubatyszko no basket, open portafilter made for gaggia classic

  • good shot, i get the impression the sugar thing was just demonstrating the thickness of the crema.

  • nice coffee, but too many sugar xD

  • DIRTY SOCKS @ 1:43 !!!
