  • I wonder what will you loggers do for work after all the trees are cut down?

  • change ''history'' into ''jobs'' channel...

  • you Whinner's realy have to meet Ken Willy you won't ever whine about anything ever again if your a real faller/logger.ha watch the dirty jobs e on helifor.

  • "only the smart ones remain in this kind of work." Uh huh.

  • The thing with harvesters is they are only perfect on flat ground with narrow trees no wider than 8 feet when you are up on the mountain harvesters are out of the question and there is too much work and money spent into prepping the land for a harvester

  • Logging really is a dangerous job I worked as a logger in the Appalachian mountains in PA. I have had 3 close calls all of them are from wind shifts at high altitude.

  • wow on every video all i see is blue @ signs, just because some troll came here to start shit. just the shut fuck up, you all think ur big time loggers, and everybody knos talk is cheap and that goes double for loggers. now since every lil pussy who started shit like oooo husqvarna is shit or these guys are ass holes will just hide behind there key boards how bought just watch the video and stop trolling huh? can we do that?

  • one of the toughest jobs in America. Respect.

  • this shit looks so fucking dangerous

  • 6 people know what the bigger part of your leg is called.

  • Old Mr. Rygaard forgot to mention he also suffers from a bad case of constipation. He takes medication to help him take a dump. Why do you think no body wants to work on his crew? He poops everywhere and people step in it. It would help if he took more than 2 baths a year.

  • WILL YOU ALL STFU BITCHS

  • great show

  • i had a close call a few days ago when i fell a tree about a foot and a half across catapolted on its limb and almost sent me flying anothing one a few years back a big limb almost hit me it fell from about 70 feet

  • @diesel4life7410 Careful there. My dad lived for 30 years with a fubar shoulder after a branch dropped him to his knees out in the woods. He never did fully get over that injury.. He died a few years back from unrelated illness.

    Be careful!!!

  • The closest call I had was when I fell my tree a limb hit me on the way down and again on the way up.

  • 0:01 to skip ad

  • @gregff9966 .... hahaha settle down u simpleton fark... a tigercat lh345c does steeper than these folk do

  • Thank god i was quick enough an he didnt gra da son bitch.

  • Shelby is the shit.. love that guy

  • lol,, logging is only this dangerous if your a dumbass,, if you had a brain you would just use a harvester,,, throw a chain and u just get out and put it back on... damn rednecks give loggers a bad name

  • @mark212anthony Ok, smart ass. Show me a harvester that can go on steep ground and can cut big trees. Thats right, they dont make anything like that. Think about what you say before you comment dumbass.

  • @mark212anthony You are an absolute retard. If it was that fucking simple then dont u think that they would use a Feller buncher? And as for a Tigercat feller yes they can handle inclined ground but not a mountain u asshole. Think before u talk you utterly friendless dicklips.

  • @mark212anthony Man please... At 19 you have an opinion on how to log safely which differs from opinions/ practices of people who have done it as a business, high volume for decades?

You've probably never even had a job. I'm a 35 year contractor, can you do my job better and safer as well? You are the kind that gets fired on the first day because you know it all.. They come and they go, only the smart ones remain in this kind of work.

  • @guitarplayer4real you make a good point im only 23 but have been in the woods since i could walk grew up in a logging family now i own my own logging company started with a coffee can full of change and never barrowed a cent and i have seen guys come that are a year or more older then me think they know it all and no respect and they are the once that get hurt or fired

  • @mark212anthony its us rednecks that make logging happen you stupid pretty boy fagot ass mother fucker! im a fifth generation logger and it is the most dangerous thing any one can do. what do you talk to trees and equptment? do you fuck it so you wont get hurt? dude if you were a logger you should know anything can happen any given moment up there. i lost my fucking brother because of a guy like you. god your a stupid fuck!!!! your momma should be fucking ashamed of you. logger from oregon here

  • @southcountyman yeah, fuckin young punk thinks he knows more than the president. id understand if he did it for a living and has done it for 20 yrs but he hasnt. he doesnt know what the fuck hes talking about and shouldnt spout off like he does. People like that fuck shit up and kill people. Better off to say i dont know and get taught then say i do know and kill someone.

  • @flecur08 yep i agree with you there

  • @mark212anthony your a fuckin racist, you know that?

  • my question is and is with all of these shows is. do these people that "star" in these shows get paid for being recorded? like some kind of royalties or something? like i know that jon n kate plus 8 bullshit got paid damn near millions. which is unreal to me. anyone know?

  • not every show on the history channel is in the past. this show in particular is about the growth of the timber/logging industry as well as its history. and the wood that they log has been planted and replanted throughout the generations so they're logging logs that are part of history. this is especially seen in the swamp scenes where they haul up logs that took on water when they used to float the logs to the mill. so they're are in fact hauling a piece of history up and onto the boat evryday

  • How much do they get paid!

  • I hope these dumb cunts get paid a lot for this.

  • Thanks to these guys, we have the materials we use on a day-to-day basis. Keep up the good work guys, and stay aware!

  • Could somebody please tell me why this show is on the HISTORY channel?

  • i asked myself that too. the same for Madhouse its racing , you know. what history is in those shows they dont really explain history about a car or wood

  • Cause these men are making history just like their elders. Logging is the back bone and has been of America weather some like to admit it or not. Timber industry still is the #1 Employer of the pacific NW.

  • I actually agree with everything you just said 104bigTruck. It's just that I tune into the History Channel to to learn about the past, not the present. I just think this show would be better off on the Discovery Channel or the National Geographic Channel.

  • @goofyguitarist11 I think 'History made everyday' is self explanatory..

  • @goofyguitarist11 because in 100 years when people are researching logging at the turn of the century, they can turn this show on and have a pretty darn good idea what it was like. imagine if they had shows like this in 1900 or 1930. all they had was people writing diaries about their experiences, or maybe once in a while a super-talented writer writing about it (ie, Old Man and the Sea re fishing). But to have something like this, imho its amazing.

and also.. HC needs to make money

  • ouch dangerous job man

  • why is this featured?

  • that part of his leg

  • If you are going to be dumb you are going to have to be tough too.

  • my fav. part 0:26-0:32 lmfao

  • dam...

  • what a turn off, do u believe in life after love? i can hear something inside me say, i really dont think ur strong enough.

  • axe men fdw

  • Noah...

  • wow!
