You do realize the immense contradiction here right? If your helping yourself, than thats not God helping you, thats YOU helping yourself. If you dont help yourself, God doesnt do anything but if you do help yuorself then he acts? Thats only cuz you actually did something

"God helps those who help themselves"... let it be known that this concept is NOT in the Bible and it's not a Bible verse.  It is indeed your responsibility to do whatever you can and apply ACTION to your hopes and dreams. The Bible does not teach that the will of God is some "cosmic Easter egg hunt" where God has already made your decisions and you have to figure out what they are. The Bible teaches that God gives us the wisdom to make good decisions... He doesn't make the decisions for us.

Is this a serious answer? You have to be kidding... EVERYBODY only knows what they've been taught. Wisdom is something you can learn and APPLY. The Bible's wisdom happens to come from the Creator and it DOES NOT teach people to sit back and do nothing as suggested. No one said anything about God arbitrarily giving out wisdom in the way you suggest. Do some homework on the Bible before making a bad misrepresentation of it in the future. Of course maybe it doesn't bother you to misrepresent?

If you had watched some of his other videos you would realize he has already done more homework on the bible than the average christian. Apparently it doesn't bother you to skip research yourself in your own quest to misrepresent those you disagree with as not taking the subject seriously. "4jonah" was responding to my initial comments below that and then I responded in kind. I should have been clearer about who I was talking to. Remember this about your god days?.....you put your best effort into a project...blood, sweat, tears. After many attempts and many sleepless nights, it Finally works!! Yay! Hey Buddy. I don't know if this will be of any help but you should definately put on a concert. Have all the kids involved, do little skits like dreessing some of them up like kiss and playing a song etc. This should generate revenue from the concert and also when parents get talking about how great it was the word will spread and more parents will want their kids to join in.

I think I know the source of your sound issue.

Do you have a router or other wireless device around your speakers or microphone?

I get THE SAME noise when my speakers are to close to my router.

Try moving the audio equipment away from the router/device.

Hope it was the problem. It took me a while to realize it was my router. I only noticed it after I picked up the speaker to see what the problem was, and the sound became more faint the further the speaker got from the router.

Yeah I actually have taught for 2 colleges in the past. It's really hard to get a position that isn't just adjunct. That was the problem. Not enough money per hour and not enough hours. Thanks for the compliments. :o)

Yeah, probably. I can't really say for sure, but there is a pretty good chance that I would have made prayer-based decisions and faith-based decisions when I should make reality-based decisions.
