I honestly have no idea why hugo weaving didn't win an oscar for his character in this movie. his portrayal was incredible, one of the best I've ever seen from an actor.
@TheOwlgirl113 It's the mask. Half of the difficulty of acting is facial expression. While I am sure he could of made an Oscar winning performance, his character wears a mask which makes the acting a little...different and not at the same level as those who must express emotion physically and vocally. All around, an unbelievable performance.
