This is a beautiful song, beautifully sung.  To think, it was born when the writer was hiding in a bomb shelter in Israel as he was afraid and hiding from the enemy's rockets. Reminds me to pray for Israel

I went to a shelter and I was abused there as well. I prayed to the lord to give me a safe place to go (i was pregnant by then because of the abuse)and when my son was born i was abused and my son as well. I have been abused all my life by my own family and friends etc..... why didnt the lord keep me and my son safe????

@jewelwonder I am so sorry that you and your son experienced abuse. My heart goes out for you. I know you feel hurt and bewildered that you were not safe despite your prayers to God. Despite your hurt and pain, please just know that God loves you and your son and that he is grieved by what you experienced, and still wants to save you to the uttermost; ask God this same question, draw close to Him, he will help you to remain strong despite evil people who refuse to yeild to God's law of love.

@jewelwonder I said a prayer for today you that you will truly know that the abuse you suffered was because of sin, not because of GOD. Everything happens for a reason, but God can and will deliver you. I pray that you will forgive those who wronged you and not hold anything against the LORD. I pray that you will feel God's love surrounding you and in your innermost being. I pray that you will develop a close relationship with HIM and love him as HE loves you. GOD bless.
