it was shot with a pentax optio W60, then strung together in quicktime and edited in imovie. the optio is a small point and shoot that has good resolution and a timelapse feature that shoots (at it's fastest) one frame every 10 seconds. one downfall is that it will only shoot 1000 frames before shutting off. overall, though, it works really well. if we need to shoot more than 1000 frames we use a canon 30D or 5D.
