Protip for delicious ice creation: Toss the stupid ice maker away. Get a big ziplock bag, fill it wil filtered water 3/4th of the way, put it in the freezer for a day or so. Smash with blunt object through a tower as to not rip ziplock bag too badly. Tasty large and small (chefs choice) chunks of ice that last several times longer than the stupid ice maker thing.
