@mc2alfawolf It's much better than you would think. You should definately buy this guitar, it plays YOU. So smooth neck. The strings are awesome for playing fast. The sound is so metal. It has a floyd rose.

te kv costs a little less then €100 more but has neck through body and i thnk sustain is really important and it also has 2 frets more bu i think the roads body shape loks better and will probably play more comfortably when playingwhile sitting down :/

did a blind fold test a little while ago at a local Guitar Center with 8 pro guitarist. we put (2) jackson RR3 and (2) jackson soloist up against a kramer striker custom fr 424cm and a kramer striker custom 211. bad news for you jackson guitar fans. the kramers took it 6 to 2. the test was based on tone/tone versatility/feel and sustain.

@TrippyTheShroom yes because randy customized tht guitar to have great pinch harmonics out of it beecause about every one of his distotred songs he pinched like i dont know he would be in the middle of the verse and pull off a great pinched and lps are not really made for tht theyre ur standard guitar for a crunchy sound but for for a smoother sound

Not a shredmachine. Any guitar with knobs so close to the strings=epic fail. Might as well be playing a fender or have the knobs right on the strings. Unless you play with a closed fist right hand, get ready to bang your pinky/ring finger on the volume control knob and gradually lose all volume.

@Tainted369 dont let other people tell you what to buy, its all in you. if you want a strat style body, go with the schecter , if you want a V , go with the rr5 a used or new rr5 their much better. from my expiriance i hate bc rich but get a quality one thats neck through or set neck. their much better guitars . the prs...i know nothing about. but dont leave guitars like a gibson V , or and esp/ltd out...they got dam nice guitars

@Airnickgr yes, actually that is the only difference. I bought mine from thomann, and I also thought that was kinda weird. but it suited me fine because that was the one I wanted=) maybe it doesn't sell as good if they price it as high as the rr24 regular.

@Airnickgr no mate, the ogardsveinen guy told you wrong. The RR24 has an ebony fretboard. Ebony fretboards are much more expensive and usually reserved for high end guitars, RR24 has a more inexpensive maple fretboard. There is your answer. :)

well theyr similar. seymour got that a bit sharper sound. and u cant just say which ones r the best. it depends on what u like. check what kinda pickups ur favorite guitarist use. and try to get one of those

from your experience, how fat is the neck compared to an Ibanez Stratocaster?

um ive never really played an ibanez of anysort but if its neck is as thick as a fender strat then , i would say the rhoads is a noticable amount thinner, not drastic but it is much much easier to shred on, but still thick enough to get a good grip on the strings for bends etc..

the neck on these are inbetween the two, its not paper thin like an ibanez neck but not as thick as a fender strat, its perfect for me but thats all in your preference.

@uncharted97 RR3, imo, it has better quality pickups and the Edge III Trem isn't all that good. If the XPT700 had an Edge Pro or ZR Trem, then you should get that, but, alas, it doesn't. The RR3 is just amazing though, you won't regret buying it.

umm youd have to give more details to your decision. the Jackson is made in japan and has a jb in the bridge and a jazz in the neck (two highly desired seymour duncans) id go with the jackson.
