No it definitely does not drone like Flowmasters. I used to have 2 chambers so I know what you're talking about! I've had a couple of guys ask about them but not from the authorities (so far). They get loud when you really get on them and more so after they're nice and hot. They have a different kind of throaty sound that I was looking for. I'm guessing your shopping around for new exhaust?
@ROBBY639 Yeah it does drone just above 2,000 rpm and i have 3.55's. On the freeway it's about 65-70 mph. It's not my daily driver so I actually enjoy the sound whenever I drive it (which is once a week).
i take it back...my bad but it does get loud around 2,000 rpm but cruising at 65-70 is fine. when i speed up to about 85 or 2,500 rpm it starts to drone or just gets louder. otherwise it doesn't drone like flowmasters.
@mykal302 oopppsss...haha, i dint read this comment and posted on the other, but one more question...can you still hear the v8 muscle sound along with that raspy high pitch?.....does it get alot of attention?....or tickets?....loud enough to hurt someones ears behind the car if you rev it up?.....ooppss again...that was more than 1 question, haha
i dont like how the loudmouth mufflers sound. i think you should get loudmouth 1 resos and get either magnapacks or flowmaster 40s for you muffler, awesome rumble sound with alotta treble too.
