  • she weighs 75lbs tops...

  • If this lion was raised by man it was probably very confused. It did not look as though it was attacking or else it would have killed or severely injured the man. This poor lion looks confused to me. Watch the story of Christian the Lion to see if wild animals can bond with man and you will see that they can and do and in fact have memories and feelings towards those who raise them.

  • this is why you hide in the cabin in tanners reach

  • I would easily wrestle that Puma to the ground, and kill it. No questions asked.

  • @Koscheck2011 oh im sure you would

  • @Koscheck2011 This is real life you cant fight off a cougar with your bare hands! They are faster than you as well if this one wanted to kill that man it would have been over before backup arrived.Humans are not the fastest OR strongest but we are the smartest so use your head and don't try it!

  • @calvin4765 i was kidding... calm down

  • @Koscheck2011 i think that puma would jab u in the face until u lost all feeling. :)

  • @crazayblonde16 tame cougar is an oxymoron. Cougars are WILD ANIMALS and cannot be tamed by humans. They are very dangerous.

  • damn nature you scary

  • Even if it was serious it wouldn't be able to kill him.

  • hes like "bad kitty go away"

  • Are they friendly when not territorial ?

  • and this is why I carry a gun when I go into the woods . . .

  • beautiful animal

  • you know how to put the fear of man back into nature, shoot it in the ass. that will teach them to be scared of us.

  • this is a small cougar,in canada a male can grow to 120 kg,cougars live from north canada to south argentina

  • What happened to the ratings? This is a good video. Its nature

  • Man thats like the other night one of my friends got attacked by a cougar in a bar

  • not a happy mog......

  • There not a scary as i thought...

  • @NathansBackwoods Seeing them on a video and seeing them out in the woods by yourself are two very different things.

  • @Chesenips980, very true, id probably still shit myself if a came face to face with one...go into the woods armed, with at least a knife, thats what i like to keep in mind.

  • @NathansBackwoods I turned around after setting up a deer stand to see one about 20 feet from me. Just staring at me. I was fucking petrified. Im also a schizophrenic, so stuff like that is always in the back of my mind when Im in the woods.

  • @Chesenips980, that kind of stuff scares me, used to think i was schizophrenic, but then i realized the past couple of times i went out riding a dirt bike in the woods i did not think about it once

  • the cougar does not know how to kill a person, but its learning... its learning O_O;

  • aww she just wanted to play

  • she attacked because of the very obvious fear they displayed after she had been detecting while prowling.

  • that wasnt a very large cougar either a big one would have killed him easy

  • wenn der typ den puma geschlagen hätte...hätte ich ihn zu brei geschlagen!

  • It was just a puddy cat and a young one.

  • Play Red Dead Redemption; Cougars in that game can kill a horse in one swipe

  • @PhatFarm60 and are sneaky

  • @PhatFarm60 actually that game is what led me to care about animals , its kinda realistic in a way how bears kill you in one hit and how cougars kill you in one pounce and stalk you .

  • puma like: GTFO from here!

  • YEAH!!!! kill him!!!!! bastards.

  • I wish i could say i'd been attacked by a cougar and survived with no damage. Nice assist by the friend with the stick. That's good looking out. Amazing video!

  • my dad and brother just sighted a couger 45 min ago crossing the road onto my property. ive been sitting on the deck up high looking into the thinned forest with a marlin 45-70 :D

  • r these not supposed to roam the British countryside. I've seen a black big cat in dumfries, scotland

  • no. whats ment to roaming the British countryside (and Irish??) is ment to be a melanistic leopard...which is commonly called a panther.

  • @shanewhite panthers are the same as cougars and they only live in the americas.

  • no mate. No proof currently exists to say that cougars (Puma concolor) have a black variant. Panthers are melanistic colour variants of many different species of big cat and can be found S. America (Panthera onca), in Asia and Africa (black leopards (Panthera pardus)), and in N. America they are black jaguars.

  • That was not a real "go-for-my-lunch" attack.

  • Beautiful animal. I don't believe in killing them, but if the fucker started to bite me, I'd be all too happy to blow it away with my .45.

  • hes lucky thats n undersized one

  • ive seen a dogo argentino beat a cougar in a fight, if noone beleives me ill send you the link to the video

  • I'd like to see that fight

  • it was a young female & inexperienced couger just they usually go for the neck! he was just lucky it was nt a bigger older alpha male or it would have done him serious damage even with his mates fighting it of with poles!

  • cougar attacks on humans aren't typically fatal for that main reason. Cougars are not use to hunting humans for food, thus they don't know where the neck on a human is. This unfamilarality usually gives a human a upper hand, and most attacks result in severe to minor injuries.

  • hes lucky that was such a small cougar...

  • That waz so stupid that cat could of killed him if it waz some real stuff

  • my 200lbs mastiff would tear that cougar apart

  • lol, your dog would die buddy. Sorry...

  • Lol go ahead and unleash it on a cougar there wont be much left off your doggie.

  • the cougar would but rape your dog after chewing its head off.

  • That was not an attack by any means!

  • fake

  • most def fake .. they had a show on about how nature shows are filmed there all set up

  • from the way the shots were made, especially the cougar running towards the camera at the end just screams that was a tame cougar to me

  • I agree its apparent that the cougar wasn't trying to kill the person otherwise this 150-250 pound cat would have at the very least sunk those 3 inch fang into that dudes back leaving blood stains on his shirt...

    this cat was playing.

  • @gtq838 thatis

  • @gtq838 "this 150-250 pound cat"

LOL, this dude was lucky this was NOT a 200-pound cat. It looks like 70 pound.

  • @gtq838 that was not a 150 pound cat (let alone 250 - lol) more like 80 pound female... this is a small cougar I've seen full grown males up close and they could rip a man apart -- they're much much bigger...

  • @gtq838 100-170 pounds actually, cougars rarely weigh over 200 pounds

  • @gtq838 how fucking not? its a wild cougar plus u can see how its muscles were all tense at 0:52 triying to take the man down

  • @gtq838 I don't think a wild predatory beast plays.....

  • @ofFanelia It will when it has someone intruding on its territory and it's already full. I think so at least..

  • @Grandfrog2 I still have to disagree. I don't think it would be playful with an intruder entering its territory especially when they already fear us so much.

  • oh my gosh that is so cool! i love it!

  • What a beautiful animal, i have always been curious as to why one animal has so many different names, Cougar, Mountain Lion, Puma, and Florida Panther?.

  • It depends on their region and where they are located. Cougars are mostly located in North and South America, and have several subspecies.

  • A cougar attacked me, not sure why? I was just poking it with a stick, then kicked its cub....cougars are so ornary.

  • me and my friend got charged by a cougar, but i shone a torch in its eyes and it ran.

  • couger never attack unless threatens or protecting so what is your situation?... i went camping once we saw a couger about 10 or so feet away but it was downhill we just stared at it and it ran away funny thing was every one was cowering behind me... shit i was scared too

  • bearing in mind this was in england aswell, were big cats are not native, but there has been sightings around the area.

we were some were wer we wer not suposed to be so we ran towards a 30ft chain link fence we walked along it and then the puma or whatever it was was following us allong the fence when we turned around it ran at us. that was when i shone the tourch in its eyes and it ran, i guess it thought we had gone into its teretory... after that we ran for miles

  • you had a tourch with you? either your indiana jones or torch is how british ppl say flashlight lol

  • he he yes a flash light is what i meant. a 6d cell maglight, its huge like a baseball bat

  • o lol, then i learned something tourch=flash light in england cool

  • you're saying there are cougars in England???????

  • well, they are not native but there are some big cats that have escaped from captivity

  • That is complete BS. Cougars don't just attack if it feels threatened or protecting it's young. Cougar attacks on humans are becoming more and more common and many times it's for food. Me and my friends were camping two nights ago and my friend happened to spot a creature's eyes with his flashlight glowing in the dark about 30 feet away. We quickly realized it was a cougar and it was stalking us, down real low creeping towards us. It was going to sprint at us so we screamed at it and it ran.

  • After it ran we saw it still looking at us from farther away and it slowly crept towards us again until it was on the little island in the middle of the river that we were camping on. We couldn't see it anymore in the dark and had no idea where it was so we got out knives and made torches. Damn it was the scariest situation I've been in. It was a lot bigger than the cougar in this video...

  • ok i will bye XD

  • i hate long comment like yours, and u try to sound so smart but no body ever reads them

  • If you didn't read it then how would you know if i was trying to sound smart or not? Oh, that's what I thought; I don't sound smart at all, it's just that to morons like you, anything sounds intelligent. I was sharing a story that relates to this video. Some people may find it interesting. Go fuck yourself.

  • nope i still didnt read it because it's to long bye and im blocking you peace!!!!

  • Peace. Have fun spending the rest of your life as a moron who can't read, spell or punctuate.

  • haha lol it looked like she whas playing cus he didint even get scratched.

  • that was just a baby

  • With all those scratches and bite marks u have a lot to explain to your wife...hot cat....hot pussy

  • holy shit. ive seen seven this year in colorado, six were in my county, one was nere my house crossing the highway above the local school. five were together in a camp ground. near the continental devide.

  • YESSSSS EAT THE POOR MAN =D

  • I have heard there are several of such cougars in the West Mountain area of Scranton.

  • scranton, pa? im from northwest of there, my mom saw a mt. lion, and so did my friends dad... they are here but the game commision wont admit it...

  • They killed a cougar in the City of Chicago. They are in the interior.
