You guys, I know it might sound weird but a big thing, perhaps the main thing, that made that era the great time it was was the recording equipment that was used. Analog, lower fi. Notice how thing started to go downhill in the late 90's as recordings got more high-fi and glossy and everything got more digital. If people started recording things like they did back in these days I suspect that things would get cool again. That's the vibe that's missing, you won't capture it on digital hd.

Woodstock 94 > Woodstock 99 . I remember being a teen watching updates on MTV like a junkie. Such good acts on that anniversary. NIN, RHCP, Porno For Pyros, old-style Metallica, Radiohead, old Green Day...I didn't even realize Aphex Twin and all the others that never made the soundtrack. Good soundtrack, double-disc too. Memories...

I saw this tour in Fitchburg Mass wallace civic center.

Tripping on acid. That show blew my mind. They played the album Porno for Pyros start to finish in order of the CD, no encore it was like a 50 minute show but it still blew me away-Steven perkins carried tis band with awesome drumming. Thanks for posting this

Saw them at the velladrome  in L.A. It was insane- Flaming Lips Opened- they only had 'Tangerine' at the time, so not so good. But at the end of the show- there was a riot, people threw their clothes in the center of the velladrome and lit them on fire- me and my brother who were teenagers (his nose got bloodied) got out of there asap- still an epic show though.
