Test video filmed with Motorola Droid / Milestone

hey help me how can i encode videos so they can play on full screen on the video player, i encode them at 720 x 480 resolution but black bars are shown at the sides of the video . whats the max resolution supported for the mile stone while playing a video?

can you show us night shots of it? so we can know if it can take good pictures in dark places? and also are you capable of recording night videos with it?
