I just checked the setlist for Stevie's upcoming tour. Didn't notice a single Holiday Inn. I did notice, however, some pretty nice arenas and concert halls. I think she's better off than you are.
This is when Fleetwood Mac was an opening act for other bands. They opened for the Eagles and so on..but as you can see and hear, stevie really steals the show. No wonder she became such a huge star in her own right.
I have a hard time believeing that anyone doubts this is Stevie and FM. Stevie's voice may have changed over the years, but she is unmistakable. This is after the release of the White album, Stevie and Lyndsay's first album with Fletwood (1975), before the band really skyrocketed. If you still have doubts, take a listen to Rhiannon on the 1980 release of the "Live" album. It's almost identical (and incredible!). There is no doubt that this is a very young FM and Stevie Nicks.
I can't find the other 1975 recording of this song that was on youtube. Did they remove it? It was far better than this. In fact, it was one of the groups best live recordings ever.
StevieNicksFan was entirely correct. A visual inspection of this female singer's profile reveals that it is, indeed,Stevie Nicks. And there can be no question that the drummer is Mick Fleetwood. This IS early Fleetwood Mac.
In response to Stardancer, I actually think Stevie's body language is quite representative of this amazing woman. Even today (e.g. Live at Boston '03), despite changes in the texture of her vocals, you can see her move her arms the way she does at 4:37 and 6:50.
There is something fishy about this video. Stevie's body language, wardrobe and facial features are all wrong. I could say the same about the rest of the band ( especially "Mick Fleetwood" ) I would bet anything that this is a cover band lip syncing to FM.

The more I look at this, I think I'd need more proof that this is authentic. Stevie's face looks off and I am a die hard fan that has seen pictures of her through her whole life. Christine isn't even shown and the picture is very fuzzy. Maybe if the clarity was better. I'm wondering myself. I know they looked similar to that, but Stevie definitely is missing facial characteristics from that era in her life. But then again, it could be the camera. Just saying you make a valid point.

If you still have doubts, take a listen to Rhiannon on the 1980 release of the "Live" album. It's almost identical (and incredible!). There is no doubt that this is a very young FM and Stevie Nicks.

I can't find the other 1975 recording of this song that was on youtube. Did they remove it? It was far better than this. In fact, it was one of the groups best live recordings ever.

StevieNicksFan was entirely correct. A visual inspection of this female singer's profile reveals that it is, indeed,Stevie Nicks. And there can be no question that the drummer is Mick Fleetwood. This IS early Fleetwood Mac.

In response to Stardancer, I actually think Stevie's body language is quite representative of this amazing woman. Even today (e.g. Live at Boston '03), despite changes in the texture of her vocals, you can see her move her arms the way she does at 4:37 and 6:50.

There is something fishy about this video. Stevie's body language, wardrobe and facial features are all wrong. I could say the same about the rest of the band ( especially "Mick Fleetwood" ) I would bet anything that this is a cover band lip syncing to FM.

The more I look at this, I think I'd need more proof that this is authentic. Stevie's face looks off and I am a die hard fan that has seen pictures of her through her whole life. Christine isn't even shown and the picture is very fuzzy. Maybe if the clarity was better. I'm wondering myself. I know they looked similar to that, but Stevie definitely is missing facial characteristics from that era in her life. But then again, it could be the camera. Just saying you make a valid point.

actually she used to be better when she was off her face if u see the other 1975 version on u tube it will send shivers down your spine,one of the best live versions of any song ever ,this one sounds hurried musically and strained by stevie. when she relaxes she can belt out a song like no other or could many years hence !!!

I love this song...
But the version on my 'The Dance' CD sounds better.
Apparently, I've heard Stevie Nicks sounds better when she's not 'off her face' (or so I've heard from my Mum).
I hate my parents for getting me into this era and genre of music...
