im not sure what oil filter i use when i do this. not sure if it makes a difference with the car but i have a 2002 jeep liberty 3.7L so not sure what is the standard oil filter used on those.
dude thank you sooooooo fuckin much man!!! this girl i really like needs to change her oil filters but has noone to do it for her. and i never knew how! thanks to you i just earned some points with her !
@dominicsmith83 The best way to do it is to loosen the oil pan drain plug to let out a little oil at a time and keep checking the oil level until just a tad below the max mark on the dipstick. If you drain to much, just add a little to top it off. no worries.
get quality jackstands! don't get killed saving $20! i don't jack any car up when changing oil,if i can't reach it safely i ain't doin' it.just bought used mercedes, oil filter is on the top! and oil drainplug is in the the front of oil pan on the side! engineering! easy to get to!
dispite what others are saying.. i watched you wid and i just finished changing my oil and it was easy, and when i removed the filter it didnt spill on me thanks to your advice
i'm sure he's an expert but i'm not going to bother looking at every of his videos, they're so short, separated and it's annoying to look for the next video. 1 star.
