I recommend keep your gold in your personal possession at all times. Trust no one to hold it safely. Just think of a good hiding place and put it there. There is nothing better than you being the only one who knows where it is.
If you do live in the big city, be careful. The bad guys and bad gals like to follow nice new buillion buys home from the shop. Be quiet about your buys too.
