The OT just gathers the adds up and hopes the heals heal him. That is why you need to burn ignis. You need good healers, and 1 healer assigned to the person in the pot. <<< works well with druids because of hots.

Amazing. For you lazy lumps with high dps, here is the other strat (Everyone has to be at 3k+ dps)

Tank ignis with the tank in the water, and all dps behind him, When you pull him, have a hunter (or a rogue) MD or ToTT to the MT and pop their cd's so the dps can go ballistic in the first 15 seconds as you are taking him to the water. This will make the bonfires (Scorch I think) dispell. The OT just gathers the adds up, while Running out of space, posting another comment

I am sure you are aware of this, but as a prot paladin, you should be able to both tank and kill the adds now. All you need to make sure is that you have 5 stacks of vengence on them when they are frozen to shatter them with your avenger shield. Unfortunately without the 5 stacks of vengence it will not work.

My guild gets me to do this every time we do him and it works ever time. It also helps with DPS on the boss since a ranged doesn't have to switch targets

(Add a few hundred give or take for 25 man)

3.3kish is fine for uld 10.

Anything higher only makes it faster, allows you to carry people below the requirement, and makes it easier.

lol hes/shes a hard fight, dps em down then dps plate wearers go on plateforms and attack the casters that fly, other people have to stay in purple shields so they get protected, I think then IT breakes the plateforms and you all fall on drakes which the rotation I forgot I havn't fought it in a while since patch ulduar

Both classes are fine, they have different applications. Shamans are really easy and great multi-person healers and they can do great DPS as well. They also have really useful totems. Mages are also useful in that they have several different DPS specs and can give their raids food/drinks at any time as well as teleporting themselves and the raid to major cities.

Both are fine choices, I prefer my warrior though!
