I've been a Firehead since I first heard Dear Friends in 1973. EYKIW has long been a favorite of mine, but they left out the album's best line from the four video chapters posted on YT. The line? "But they sure know where it comes from!". It's from the travelogue program that seems to be excluded from the video, and you have to hear it to fully appreciate it.

My best friend Adam and I listened to this album literally hundreds of times over the course of our childhood and unearthing this film is just incredible. Of course nothing is better than the pictures in your head but without question this is the next best thing imaginable! "Fine Sam we'll invite over a bunch of immigrants and make cars!"

There was a time when crazy people sold their business on late-night radio and on hilarious and oddly-made TV commercials in the small hours of the morning. It made being up late seem kind of like a special club of weirdos. This is both a spoof and a loving homage to that era.
