Nicely done Terra! Im so happy you have new equipment-you'll be extra motivated to upload! And YEEEEES!! You have finally unleashed le acoustic vee-oh-lin X3!! Ive been requesting this for forever but u keep saying that u leave it at school or something >.< (memory lapses) lol. Keep doing what you do. My only critique is that you should be a tad careful with intonation slips and to just work a bit more on expression. Listen to the erhu in the track and try to copy the way it does portamenteus

@Arrow9100kj *portamento (ugh, the other spelling I used refers to a linguistic property >.<) But anyway, if u dont know what that is, its just the name for 'sliding into notes'. Its a very expressive move thats available to us string players so it'll be worth mastering it. Compliments of the season Terra! Cant wait to see your spunky new HQ violin covers next year ^_^

@Arrow9100kj I agree :) Thanks so much for the advice! I love being able to slide between notes, but sometimes it isn't in tune lol. I will definitely practice it more :) Just have to find songs to practice with!

@TeraCMusic I will admit that before I started violin lessons, my hobby/part time job was as a photo/videographer. The picture and sound quality is definitely improved. Should I mention about moving your light source?

@TeraCMusic Easy fix. Just move your camcorder around so you are facing the light. If the background wall bothers you, hang a bed sheet up so you'll have a neutral background. Great violin cover by the way.

@1ElectricViolinist I do know that certain acoustic violins sound different than others... it's all about who made them. Mine was quite expensive. Around $600. I tried other acoustics out and liked the tone of this one best. I played a few tunes in the music store and this violin made every single song sound pretty lol :) It also depends on the person. Not everyone plays the same. What might play well for me might not play well for you. But I hope you find your perfect violin!!
