@Angelo3492 my guess is that the bursts of smoke and fire is probably some kind of safety feature where the combustion chamber adds more fuel in an attempt to dislodge or vaporize any obstructions. Much like the M1 Abrams tank can rev it's combustion chamber to remove sand water etc. That it may pick up during a patrol or mission

This is proberly coused by a failure in the compressors blads which then then couses a failure turbine section af the engien.

This leads to fuel ignition outside the combustion chamber.

Search in youtube, the original owner of the copyright posted the full vid, planes returns and lands safely. You can even see the egine being shut down. Birdstrikes are not dangerous on one engine.

Most aircraft take birdstrikes on a regular basis and it does not harm the engine in anyway, the engine will need a boroscope and re boroscoped in the next few hundred flight hours, now, if you hit a swan or large bird your in trouble!!

Bent blades on an engine are acceptable for flight as long as they are within limits!
