Never signed up to YouTube until right now... just so I could say how good that is. You know how sometimes there's something in your head that you're trying to nail, but when you pick up the guitar you get stuck with all your old cliches? Well, what you played there was like listening to a breath of fresh air... if you know what I mean.

Like the tone of that single cone maybe it's the room your in, but somehow yours seems not that different to a Resolian...? Anyway, thanks buddy!

Thanks! Most of the tunings I use are just random, but a google search indicates this one is called Aadd9 . . . not sure if that's correct though. It's a fun tuning to noodle with...

Thanks! Yep, the slide is frosted lead crystal made by Diamond Bottlenecks. It kind of looks like ice.

Again, I got to say thats a lovely tune, it's really inspired me That frosted slide has got a real zing to it. I've just ordered a Republic Resolian parlour resonator with aged nickle finish, cant wait to get my hands it :o)

Cool and thanks! Congrats on the reso parlor! Thats a nice guitar . . . I like the 24.5 scale length w/ the 1 7/8 nut width . . . the short scale and wide nut should be really comfortable to play slide and fingerstyle
