The problem is with crystalline silica of respirable size (less than or equl to 10 micrometer) which may cause lung inflammation or cancer when it is in air and enters the lungs. Crystalline silica is not used as a cosmetic ingredient.

@lexxipaul I'll look into it. I would imagine it wouldn't be good in powder form in case you inhaled it. I don't think it can harm you in this form- but I'll check.

Thank you so much for the mychelle foundation demonstration. i recently started using mychelle skincare (and also buy it from vitacost) and have been wanting to try the stick makeup, but was uncertain about due to color choice and how to apply and your demonstration really helped. im going to maybe check out the porcealin and the ivory in person to decide. But i wanted to ask do you use the mychelle concealer and blush too? and what setting powder do you use? thanks for the great video!!!

Porcelain has more of a pink/peach undertone. Latte is more golden.

I recently ordered the Mychelle mineral concealer off their website. Although, now I am bummed to see that I could have paid less. Next time :)

I LOVE this product. It was light enough for my skin, which has consistently been a problem with the 'natural' concealers, and it covers beautifully, even though it is very sheer. I barely have to use any and I have dark circles most of the time. I apply it just like this video, straight from the container.

I was curious about the foundation. Thank you!

Wegmans carries mychelle cosmetics at least near me in NJ! im going to try it there for a shade and purchase at vitacost! vitacost is cheaper than wegman's.

I buy Mychelle products and all natural/organic products at Vitacost and it is much cheaper. Except...they don't have this particular product on their site. They do have the face creams, moisturizers...they even have the concealor stick and it's MUCH LESS expensive. I ordered the sample set for

$14 and it comes with almost all their products.....so I can see what I like.

I love Vitacost.....I didn't realize how many brands they had until I clicked on the alphabetical brands list....they carry almost everything. I just placed a really big Mychelle order......nothing compares to their products. My skin has completely changed!

Loving your channel! Glad I came across it :) Your skin is so gorgeous!! As for the Mychelle foundation I've seen it before and always been curious but holy cow the 3rd shade in the color range is SOO dark!

Can I ask do you find this foundation actually covers pink or redness in the skin? And what brand powder do you use?

The color selection could definitely be a lot more broad. 4 of the 6 shades are VERY dark.

I've found that it evens my skin tone, covers freckles and uneven/red spots.

The powder that I'm using is the Korres Wild Rose Brightening Powder (I showed this in my liquid foundation application video).

And yes, I've tried the Mychelle concealer and will be doing a review on it soon!

Great review. I have been trying out the mychelle sampler pack. I ordered it after I watched your vid on them. So far I love everything I tried. Could you do a review of your blending sponge? I've been thinking about getting this one or the beauty blender and I can't make up my mind.

Yes, I can do that! I don't have the Beauty Blender, so I'm not sure how they compare, but the Sonia Kashuk version definitely gets the job done!

The MAC foundations are very heavy and cause a lot of people to break out. You'll find this one is much more sheer and better for your skin. : )

I have and I do like it.....however I liked their original formula a little better. They changed the formula last year and it doesn't smell nearly as good as the original! : )

Another great review and another product I def want to try! I always steered away from cream/stick foundations because I thought they would be too thick with too heavy coverage. This seems perfect since I like sheer to light coverage. Two questions: Do you think the cream foundation would be too heavy for the summer? Also, do you think this would work for sensitive, slightly dry skin? Thanks for introducing us to this brand :)

This foundation is very hydrating and would be great for someone with slightly dry skin. I don't think it's too heavy for summer, but instead of applying it all over my face I'd probably just put a few swipes on the areas that needed a bit of coverage, go over with a light dusting of powder and blush, and be out the door! : )
