  • does anyone know what the movie is called that this song is in... it's a old movie that i remember watching with my parents and they said it came out when they were teenagers in the 50's or 60's....

  • I was at his last concert, after that concert it was snowing bad, I and my sister talked with them after , the show he was so nice, and the band.

  • the version of this song by pearl jam was played at my friends funeral in august, it was his fav song and he died at the age of 14. I miss u DrewDrew R.I.P. DrewDrew

  • A Top 5 hit for J. Frank Wilson and The Cavaliers in the fall of 1964.

  • J. Frank Wilson was from Lufkin,TX, I worked with a guy who went to High School with him.

  • Taylor Swift's version is so different!:O

  • @imanowlexterminator Because it's a different song.

  • Thanks.....!

  • Frank is my late cousin. I remember my (great) Aunt playing this song over & over when we were at her house. I was only 5 at the time. When Pearl Jam did a remake of "Last Kiss", I was overcome with emotion & had to pull my car over. I wish Frank would have lived to hear it. What a compliment to The Caviliers! My British friend remembers hearing it in England! I am so proud of Frank & The Caviliers! Great job!

  • @native08texan He had a great voice and I think it wouldn't have been the same without him.

  • I was 2 and to date I still listen to this.....Great Song

  • It brings back wonderful memories of the Cavaliers playing at the dances in Wall & Rowena Texas. This was always a favorite.

  • This is absolutely the best song by J Frank Wilson & the Cavaliers.Co..... This is how it really was!!! Excellent Song...I Really Love It<3

  • Do you know where Chuck Edwards is? He was with ya'll before this became famous....... Thanks.....Great song!!!!

  • Snake and I Can't beleve that this is still showing how it was in our pass. Lewis Elliott is still rocking the the west Texas area and if you go by the Shop you can still talk to Snake about his great adventure of being on the bus with The Dick Clark Caravan of Stars in the Old Days Of Rock and Roll.. David Tillery Stars of Texas Productiom Center

  • SOOO much better than pearl jam's version!!! this guy's voice is actually amazing!!! i had no clue pearl jam remade this song... and who knew i'd love it :)

  • I love this song it makes me cry and reminds me precisely of similar thing I went through I dedicate this song to my ex rIp BaBy ;(

  • MY Dad is the piano player, Mr Mike Hodges... this the first time i ever watched it... pretty cool dad....

  • So good, no words can describe

  • I'm dreaming? This so much beautiful. Thanks

  • I Love This Song (:

  • They did do great with their remake of Wayne Cochrin's song for sure!

  • I took my first guitar lessons in the studio shown in San Angelo, Texas in 1977. It was pretty cool to be practicing in the studio knowing a number one hit had been recorded there. Still a classic, love playing it on my guitar-sad so many younger folks only know the Pear Jam version-good, but no this good!

  • This song I remember very well when I was just a child. Love it.

  • I still have the Josie 45 of this song.... almost wore it out when I was younger.....still works fine today though....thanks for bringing it in the youtube circle.........

  • Very well done, thank you for taking the time to do this.

  • :D I shall act as ambassador from youth culture and say this is awesome

  • This IS the original, I remember it from when I was a little girl and my brother was learning it, I heard it OVER & OVER, believe me ITS THE ORIGINAL alright! I will NEVER forget it. My brother has been gone 10 years now and it still haunts me but at the same time brings back such good memories of his talents and all the fun he had in his youth.

  • This is not the original released version. As a former oldies DJ I realized that as soon as I heard it.....

  • Will you please turn the record over and put the flip side song on here. It was called "The nickle song." So catchy a song it is. Thank you.

  • very good classic song. good old days.

    ...JIM...AKA...STICx...

  • I always wondered how many young ladies were singing the descant part. That's the first time I saw that photo and it looks like there were 5. Hmmm wonder who they were.

  • Probably just studio singers. Back then it wasn't uncommon to use a different set of local backup singers at each gig rather than pay to travel with them.

  • Snake. The orig, drummer I found my posting It David and showed it to priscilla great now everyone will know the real members in the band that made this national hit forever

  • Awesome video! Snake and Lewis haven't aged much! And yet, they can still get down and rock with the best of them. We should see about recording something where Last Kiss was recorded. Might be fun. Tillery can still do mobile right?

  • @bairdt2006 Come and see the new Studio Snake Knows where it is

  • interesting video really good to see the old pictures and read the newspaper article while listening to the song =)

  • This is the best video of "Last Kiss" that is posted on YouTube! This is really how it was!
