SEIKO Diver's 200m Automatic // Macro

how do you resize the bracelet on this watch? I'm struggling to do it! you don't seem to be able to push the pins through like normal

@Scotscan I know it's pretty tricky without the right tool. I actually went to my favorite jeweler down town.

Without changing a thing SEIKO should come out with this and the SKX013K with the 6R15 movement. And SEIKO should do that with, and re-release the SEIKO 6217-8001 62MAS too!

@jriverapallares i know you want to sound smart but you dont, because i know very well about those 2 brands, and i even have to admit that the higher class seiko are all assembled by hand compared to rolex who still uses machine asembling in the higher segments too. nevertheless its nothing new that the rolex submariner came out before the seiko equivalent, which only leaves the conclusion that seiko inspired their design by the submariner. im not dissing seiko in general so no big deal

I wasn't trying to sound smart. I was simply implying that comments like yours frequently come from those who know nothing about dive watches. Now that I know you do, I'm confused as to why you made such a comment. Different companies are 'inspired' by others' designs. So did Rolex 'rip off' Blancpain? I wouldn't say they did, but I suppose you might. There are, however, blatant ripoffs such as the Invicta diver. But the Seiko 200m diver isn't one of them.

@jriverapallares Actually youre rite, I have to apologise as to my comment was indeed a bit harsh, a bit exagerrated. To put it way more as i wanted it to come out, Its just that I own a submariner myself and so I am not a friend of seiko equivalent since i only realised how similar they were quite a bit after aquiring my Submariner. I know not a real reason per se but eh, I hope you can still understand where my thoughts come from :P

THERE IS ALWAYS THE DISSCUSION IF THE WATCH IS FROM JAPAN OR MALASIA, iTS FUNNY BUT IS NOT BAD TO WANT YOUR SEIKO DIVER WATCH TO BE JAPANESE

Anyone know if a seiko watch that says its water resistant 30 meters,does that mean it would be ok if i wash my hands or if i accidentally jump in the shower with it , or a prick throws me in the pool and the watch will still work? even with no fog whatsoever? im not a diver i just need a new watch and im used to wearing one daily my old one just got douched will it make it through the things i described if the watch says 30 meters is that statement accurate

This is Seiko SKX175, Great watch with automatic movement! Beats a ROLEX for the Price! I've seen them really cheap on Ebay!
