i think that was when the vault was set to low at the Sydney games...it ended up being like 5 inches to low a big difference so like every girl really messed up...

I've never seen that video of Daniele Hypolito (1:57). I wonder how they went through half the meet with everyone being high on the horse and nobody checked it. Even some of the girls who landed or stuck their vaults (like Raducan) were too high coming onto the horse. You'd think someone from the FIG would notice that at the most important competition in gymnastics.

I can't remember what year it was but at one of the olympics they set the vault at the wrong height and most of the girls either fell or got hurt or both. NOT a good year.
