  • Thank you for the help I am just about to fit it to my 250 excf 2012

  • Thanks for the video!

  • thanks for posting this video, it was very helpfull thank you

    i have a question though, i have a LC4 640 2002 and my friend has a SMC 660 2003

do u know if there are Radiator fans for those motorcycles as well ? Also do u need 2 radiators for the bike ? (one to the left and one to the right) ?

im looking forward for your answer.

thank you... greetings from greece !!!

  • Just a question about the fan, my bike when i bought it second hand had the fan installed on it, but it never really seems to kick in that i notice. Do you notice yours and for how long of periods is it on? my bike overheats and coolant goes all over my exhuast header cause the steam, jsut wondering if you know how often the fan works?

is the part number. Keep me posted when you post your video. Should be fun!

  • Ronnie,

Thanks for all the awesome videos! Do you have a part number and or source for the fan kit you installed? I just picked up an 08 530 EXC-R and can't wait to go through and set it up as close to yours as possible. I think I might do a video log of the process and post it on there. Would be my first you-tube video.

    Thanks again!

  • Hello

Please could you tell me if there is a coolant bleed screw on a KTM 525 EXC 2005

to leave the air out when filling the radiator back up or bleed screw on the engine maybe.

Is there a way of doing it ?

  • Header wrap will cause your header to crack over time. I had mine coated with a process called Jet Hot, web search Jet Hot. If it helps performance I sure didn't notice a change, but it does lower the surface temperature of the pipe and restore the original look of the pipe. I also bought a carbon fiber pipe guard to help control the heat. The biggest horsepower gain is from a KTM/FMF muffler and stock header with a Slavins Racing header scram insert. Let me know how it works out for you. Ronnie

  • Great video, info is a big help.......!

how do you rate exhaust wrap? for cooling purposes...

let me know if u think it's a waste of cash...?

    cheers. Al.

  • At KTM

  • i saved much money by buying two small computer fans 60x60mm and it relay works good better than two 120 fans that I also tested but they wasn't powerful enough to cool when I drive.

  • where did you bye that at

  • Ronnie, I watched t your video "Never Overheat Again... The Cure!". What's up with the fan?

  • @jaswomack Sitting at a stop light in traffic it doesn't overheat but it got too hot for my liking. Plus the fan was a new toy for me . Ronnie

  • NIce video, great help on installing mine. Thanks man!!!
