I agree. Taylor Hawkins always makes crappy choices in how his drums sound, especially in their recordings. Foo's should have power in their drum sound and not the wimpy sounds Taylor always produces. No idea why he uses smaller toms and timbales too. Totally wrong sound for them. To be honest i wish Will Goldsmith was still with the Foo's. Much more powerful drummer and always had that Grohl drum sound with him.

1. Dave wrote the music and played all instruments on the first CD all except 'x static' in which greg dulli frm the afghan whigs who played guitar parts.

2 bout the change of members- After TCATS pat smear (rhythm guitarist) and william goldsmith (drummer) left. They were replaced by Franz Stahl (guitarist) and Taylor Hawkings ( current drummer). Just before the release of TINLTL, Stahl left the band. He was replaced by the current guitarist Chris Shifflett
