I have the biggest amount of respect for Choctaws because in the 1840s just after they suffered the trail of tears they even helped out my country of Ireland when we were going through the Great Irish Famine. Our former President went to the United States and visited the Choctaws and thanked them in the 1990's. Thank you Choctaws for helping Ireland. All of us Irish appreciate it. :)
@XxSHOOTERxX88 I'm Irish. You should be! I sit here sporting my hair in a Mohawk ( diff nation, I know) in your nations honor, as a tribute. Anytime anyone comments on it, I tell them of your Generosity. One day I'll set my foot on North American soil, only cos of you, current politics there scare me. My first stop off will be to go to pay my respects to you bearing a gift from Ireland. A small token of my eternal love and respect:)
Great video.I didn't know the Choctaw people helped the Irish during their plight. The Native people and the Irish have a lot in common. Both were treated harshly, both had their cultures attacked.Language decimated,Land stolen, killed and so forth.
@asIRISHasitgets you are my friend indeed.I have a lot of Irish in my family. My moms side of the family are all Irish and my dad's is Irish,English and German.
@asIRISHasitgets I guess LOL.The German comes from my great grandmothers side of the family. There was a Daniel O'Hare who married an Elisabeth Stein. This was all done in America.
