  • THANK YOU!!! I will be starting this asap!

  • I have a footling baby, am 36 weeks, have a moxa stick at home I used for fertility 36 weeks ago lol, is it okay to try this at 36 weeks with footling? the feet are engaged.

  • Thank you! I'm a childbirth educator and inform all my students that moxabustion is an option for turning a breech baby, but have never seen it done.

  • I suggest doing it outside if possible because Moxa stinks :/

  • I did this too 4 yrs ago and my boy turned. Amazing how baby starts moving so vigourously within minutes. I was a great sceptic but would have given anything a go to avoid a section. Try it...you'll be surprised!

  • Did it twice and it worked for me! baby turned in one day!

  • i did this and my breach baby turned around. it is over 70% effective as well.

  • Relax chronic, you may not know everything. As far as moxabustion, this technique is one of the only ever studied by science and its efficacy was supported.

  • Chinese medicine seems a bit like voodoo at first, but these points are incredibly powerful and stimulating them, whether by needles or by heat from the moxa, really does cause profound changes in the body. Safe too, no side effects. Has to be done at the right time, not too close to term, not too early either because the baby will keep flipping if too small. Around week 32 is ideal.

  • Great explanation. I am just studying Chinese medicine and this helps me better understand this process. Thank you!

  • Thanks so much for posting.
