@traceyrmj2 My book calls that area Australia, but I found this in Wikipedia: Zealandia (pronounced /ziːˈlændiə/), also known as Tasmantis or the New Zealand continent, is a nearly submerged continent or microcontinent that sank after breaking away from Antarctica between 85 and 130 million years ago, and then from Australia 60–85 million years ago.[2] It may have been completely submerged about 23 million years ago,[3][4] and most of it (93%) remains submerged beneath the Pacific Ocean.
@tuanismancr2893 Thanks. There could actually be 6 continents, depending on how you see the world. Asia and Europe are connected, but they are still two continents. Strange. Wikipedia shows all the different ways you can break down the continents of the world. The countries you named are in "South America". Do you know what Pangia is?
Could you please send me the raw video...(google earth right?) I'd like to add "highlights" around each continent when they are introduced. I think it is such a cool video, I'd like to contribute if possible.
@danikbates I'm not sure, I guess it just depends on what your school teaches. Maybe it's different around the world. I found this though "Depending on the convention and model, some continents may be consolidated or subdivided: for example, Eurasia is often subdivided into Europe and Asia, while North and South America are sometimes recognized as one American continent."
@erkymendes123 The name of the song is "Around the World" by Daft Punk.
