  • damn, apparently there's some cheesy goth-metal band who've named themselves after this song!

  • obsessed with this shit

  • Best song by these guys. Really hoping they play in Chicago again soon.

  • so fucking good

  • Everyone should just shut the fuck up. I like Scary Kids Scaring Kids, I also like Cap'n Jazz, if someone doesn't like one I don't complain, I just accept it and move on. Really, who cares what other people listen too.

  • I agree with mr serve

  • I was born in 95 and I love this music. i win

  • @TheVictimTheLiar oooh. would you like a medal?

  • sounds like some gay stoner music

  • You won't tickle my gut with ya pennyluck <3

  • Oh boy. It's just the good old Kinsella clan. They are too fuckin awesome to have any genre stomped upon them^^

  • I think the reason you're all confused comes down to the fact you were all born in like 95 and 96, so you probably haven't heard cap'n jazz or the owls or any other early to mid 90's emo music before it was a mainstream mess and hot topic loving kids were running around listening to their "Scary Kids Scaring Kids" album. Get real

  • There is a shitty hardcore band named Scary Kids Scaring Kids..

  • An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).

I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.

My BLOG contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers" (use search words "SAM ZURICK" & "BLOG"). THANKS!!

  • takes me back to the day when i wore my chucks, black hoodie and black framed glasses! byah!

  • this was so not what i was looking for o.o

  • @xxEmoLilZZxx you have "emo" in your account name and you weren't looking for one of the most influential bands in emo music?

  • @RomeSkateFoSho ...nope! :)

  • @RomeSkateFoSho She probably thinks emo is A Skylight Drive.

  • @asecretninja would not doubt it man. irks me how badly the tag is just tossed around these days.

  • @RomeSkateFoSho She was looking for the much crappier modern emo band "Scary Kids Scaring Kids".

  • @DavidRayT Scary Kids Scaring Kids isn't even a remotely emo band.

  • @RomeSkateFoSho Yeah. They're a whiney emo kid band.

  • @DavidRayT No, they're a shitty scene kid band.

  • @RomeSkateFoSho THIS is beyond shitty! At least the scary kids play and sing in tune. Idk how this is even considered emo and not some offshoot of grunge rock... pure garbage ;P

  • @theboyinallblack can't tell if serious. IT'S THE IMPERFECTIONS THAT MAKE EMO MUSIC SO GREAT AND HONEST.

  • @theboyinallblack Your name is edgy as hell.

How many times do you type "I hate my parents" on your facebook?

  • @theboyinallblack No idea what emo actually is, now do we? :)

  • @theboyinallblack lol dude, this is emo. if you think aiden and black veil brides are emo bands youre a fuckin idiot. its dumbass kids that get people like me stereotyped, emo isnt angry kids wearing makeup and black clothes, its emotive hardcore. a genre that blows your scene kid crap out of the fuckin water.

  • @theboyinallblack

    I really hope you're trolling.

Emo is "emotive hardcore", a subgenre of hardcore punk that started in the 80's. MTV has led you to believe it's the crap YOU listen to, but that is not the case. This is the ORIGINAL of the shit that you like. In fact, the stuff that you like just took the name "emo" and used it as marketing. THIS is emo, not some shitty group mechanically worshiped by all scene kids.

  • @theboyinallblack I'm pretty sure Scary kids Scaring kids the band would highly disagree with you, as I do not think they would name their band after this song otherwise...

  • @theboyinallblack Google emo and then google post-hardcore. This is emo. Scary Kids Scaring Kids is modern mainstream post-hardcore(very different from Fugazi). Not to nitpick over genres, but misinformation really pisses me off. It has come to the point where I am pissed of and embarrassed every time I hear someone say the word emo, because their is so much misinformation about the term. BTW I was born in 1995. Being young isn't an excuse for being ignorant about emo music.

  • My left ear feels important.

  • @geometrybot don't forget little league!

  • i clicked on this thinking it was a song by sksk, but it wasn't lol. i feel dumb

  • @janiceimo No, you just found a new awesome band to enjoy. I listen to and enjoy both.

  • @DilutedDreams hahaha i guess you could look at it like that :) i think i'll give this band a try

  • This is amazing

  • sounds like pavement with frontman thom york instead of malkmus

  • sounds like the evens

  • the links dont work anymore... can you help me out dude?

  • r these guys grunge

  • @misfitsfan28 Cap'n Jazz basically defines 90's emo.

  • @Pogs4Fathersday ya but they sound better, besides emos r just punk wannabes

  • @misfitsfan28 Emo is nebulous as fuck. It can sound like hardcore, indie, or a variety of other genres. Emo originated as a bullshit term to differentiate hardcore by lyrical content and to sell magazines.

  • @Pogs4Fathersday and now it referes as to being emotional? any way this is like the only emo band ill take into consideration into listening too, the others r just too whiny or they try to be hardcore scremo,

  • @Pogs4Fathersday that and lol indie isnt a genra its just a term to describe a band that has an underground label or make theyre own labels its not a sound or a genra. u could even label pearl jam as being a indie but theyre not theyre grunge

  • @misfitsfan28 It can be used in both ways. But if you say indie band to someone today they're going to assume you're talking about the genre.. It started out as just being about what kind of label the band had (as in they are independent of the larger labels), just like you can talk about indie games or indie movies. Nowadays it's definitely a genre though..

  • @siire yea, soppose soo either way this band kicks ass, personaly these are like the only emo/punk band that realy has its originality, others dont realy have their own sound.

  • lol at all of the people who think this is Scary Kids Scaring Kids and not Cap'n Jazz.

  • @Youand1death hahahaha so true, fuck scary kids scaring kids

  • This is not Scary kids scaring kids !

  • @25089945 No this is actuall music.

  • @25089945 Actually this is. Oh wait you're talking bout that trendy as mall core band.

  • @raiders545 Hum what ?

  • @25089945 the band name"scary kids scaring kids" comes from this song.

  • Is this really SKSK?

  • @Triaguy0ce

LOLLLLL........ get off the internet, now.

  • man, when people try to discuss music theory via the comments on Youtube, they always sound like A) Pretentious douchebags that don't enjoy any of the music that they listen to or B) Uninformed bullshitters trying to credit or discredit a band/genre. We all know there are only 3 song forms that are popular, and we don't give a shit, stop analyzing the music and enjoy it.

  • @Youreallnuckingfuts THANK YOU. fucking music theory. fuck. no body important new a damn thing about music theory if you ask me.

  • Ooh, cap'n jazz, how I love you.

'Tis enough to give goose pimples to a...goose..or something.

My all time favourite band, and this being my all time favourite song.

Seriously, everybody just shut the fuck up, and just soak up that shuddering, clatteringly brilliant chorus.

  • i just read the rest of these comments and well..oooh you cant take this music or their fans seriously because its just something close minded people will deem worthy of being top stuff mate baha

  • @FartKnockaz No, we comment on the video because we like the band. Doesn't make us close-minded at all. Your comment, however, makes you a self-righteous cockbag who would do well to do something better with his time (girlfriend, maybe?) than to comment on videos of music that you don't like. Fuck off.

  • @crassisdead You sure are a close-minded emo kid baha thinking theres no better time to use on anything than there is on a piece of pussy

what a poof you are! :) i bet you do think this is jazz too lol emo kids.

  • @FartKnockaz lolol

  • @FartKnockaz So buddy, do you know anything about music? The fact that although they use simple power chords they make up for it with rhythms in and throughout different songs in various modes. for instance, lydian and phyrgian. I've heard those a couple times, but mainly Minor keys and Major go figure. But they also rely on modal sounds as well. But they use them in advantage of although it's fast playing in the choruses the verses tend to be finger picked or sounds to be and technical based.

  • @crassisdead i bet you FartKnockaz looked up the band Scary Kids Scaring Kids and found this. He's no use to talk to, he's probably one of those faggots that comes on to music that's "emo" and says it's a disgrace to music, when half the time the underground kind at least, is real talent. Plus his arguments are fallacies and really, he's close minded. I wonder if he knows anything about music, don't you?

  • @Crayo99999 Yeah, I kind of gathered that. I just like having some fun with idiots like him.

  • @crassisdead found you!

  • @yoznfroogurt Dang, it's like a game of hide and go seek!

  • scary kids scaring kids, we are scientists, how many other bands are named after cap'n'jazz songs??

  • @geometrybot Or more specifically, how many other lame bands?

  • @geometrybot only 2

  • Comment removed

  • @geometrybot Little league is!

  • @geometrybot there's some owen poser named "Oh messy life" HAHAH

  • @geometrybot Little League

  • The band scary kids scaring kids can fucking die. It would be a different story if they sounded anything like Cap'n Jazz, but they don't. They're a disgrace. "emo" music was cool and great sounding until the 90's ended then it turned into some fad. I have nothing against the people. Just their music.

  • @dudesons441 Thank you for being one of the only people to separate not liking the music from the artist.

  • @TheHotelHolland No problem ^.^

  • you're a saint for posting a link to 'ology good sir. Been looking for a full copy for years,

  • I don't understand what sksk(the band) has to do with this song, good song though.

  • @DustyMassacre Scary Kids Scaring Kids Got There Name Off This Song They Said It Themmselves

  • For some reason, I love The Promise Ring, American Football, and Owen, but I can't get into Cap'n Jazz.

  • @SolidShroom

me too, they're alright but the music's just so random... I like Owls though.

It's not about Tim's vocals at all, I really like those. Also, i don't get why people compare Algernon Cadwallader to these guys. The vocals are similar yeah, but the rest... not really.

American Football will always be my favourite Kinsella band.. Owen comes right after that. Do you know The One Up Downstairs? You might like them, they've got mike on vocals, too (they're pretty much proto-AF i think)

  • and to think... 16 / 17 / 18 years old.

  • thanks for sharing these soothing tunes!

  • seeing them this sunday!!

  • reminds me of nirvana

  • lol, youtube allows those mediafire links?

  • @UberThom12

and early Cursive, but yeah, totally agree.

  • I wish these guys and street smart cyclist were still around. I missed this whole era of epic lo-fi garage bands... :(

  • i just posted the link to disk 2 i forgot to put it there

  • I find this is thier best song, the other ones dont come anywhere as close.

  • the album download link you posted is a godsend, thank you.

  • is there a disc two?

  • Comment removed

  • Make Me is a really good band too

look up Rubber Sidewalks be them

  • I could kiss you for knowing who Make Me is. Congrats on existing! Every single one of their songs are amazing.

  • Snowing taps a lot.

  • we are scientists never admitted to taking their name from cap'n jazz

  • did scary kids scaring kids do that also?

  • awesome, when did song come out

  • sometime around 1994 i think

  • Thanks,sounds really awesome

  • i listen to snowing alot but it sucks that they only have one cd

  • @michael678909 pump fake is pretty cool song

  • @michael678909 it does.

  • @michael678909 new Snowing CD is out now, for free download.

  • One of CJ's best songs..

  • how can you not like sksk

and yeah this is a great song

  • he has functioning ears.

  • They dont make them like that anymore^^ I hate how now days plays only true screamo in underground...Old school emo pritty much died...

  • I agree.

  • There are ALOT of Old School Emo bands out there now.

For bands that sound like this try Algernon Cadwallader, Street Smart Cyclist, Boy Problems, Hightide Hotel, bands like that.

  • thanks for the awsome bands

  • I fucking love all of those bands. And Snowing as well.

  • Yeah I've been listening to Snowing alot too.

  • the only problem i have with algernon/snowing is way to much tapping

  • I really don't get Snowing, terrible band. I like these guys though, give me the lolz

  • @traighost duuuuuuude wth. snowing are amazing, on par with cap'n jazz imo

  • I agree, I mean they are both great bands, and I love a bit of tapping in songs, but overuse of it just gets boring...

  • Dde, old emo was so gooooodd

  • i miss it,

  • wtf. sksk is fucking amazing! and so is this band.

  • Okay, so I may have been a little harsh on them, having only heard one song. I listened to another song and they are pretty alright, but Cap'n Jazz will always be way better than them.

  • sksk got there name from this band

  • yeah i know:P

  • @crassisdead i dont get how a screamo band could listen to this band, and still be a screamo band.

  • @ItHappens117 sksk isnt a screamo band, happens.

  • @dragul0pr yeah dude, sksk is like mainstream warp tour mall-emo post-hardcore haha.

  • @mobwas1

    Err.. emo?

  • @mobwas1 SKSK is a good band. You're probably just one of those pretentious douchebags who hates anything that's "mainstream".

Ohai, BTdubz. This band is pretty mainstream now. Hence, all the 11 year olds in the comments.

I guess it's time to put them on your "do not like" list.

You know, the one you wrote on your macbook while you sat in starbucks.

  • @mobwas1

sooo true ROFLcopter *busted a gut*

  • @crassisdead thats a close minded view >_>

  • Comment removed

  • @crassisdead yeah doesnt mean you got to say they blow because there really good actually, i personally dont like this band but im not here insulting them, so yea it was a close minded comment ;)

  • @Babelsuicide If I hadn't heard them, then yes, that would have been a closed-minded comment, but I'd already heard them before I posted the comment.

  • @crassisdead fuck you

  • Comment removed

  • @crassisdead the band is amazing, the song blows

  • @Narutard1213 Then get the fuck off of the video, dumbshit.

  • @crassisdead i was on the video because i was checking to see if it was any good evidently, it was

  • @Narutard1213 Alright, I really don't care.

  • @crassisdead lol

  • @crassisdead How Bout You Go "BLOW" On Your Moms Dick

  • @jonov123 Holy fuck, I cannot even fathom the wit and cleverness involved in thinking up that splendiferous insult. Nah but really, quit bitching to me because I don't care what a dumb scene kid has to say. And quit capitalizing each word. It doesn't make you look smart, it makes you look like you're trying too hard to look smart.

  • @crassisdead You Fail This Band Is Emo Dipshit Fuck That Go Cut Yourself You Fucking Fag

  • @jonov123

The fuck? Why do you feel the need to capitalise every single word you write?

    Protip: Learn some grammar.

  • @edenmeden Oh Im Sorry Fucking Nerd

  • @jonov123 I hope you are referring to Cap'n Jazz as Emo and not SKSK as Emo. They were a band made up of scene kids, for scene kids. They put no actual emotion or true angst into their music. They couldn't find emotion if they lived in a Lifetime movie.

  • @jamesandjackproducts Your right because its entirely impossible that they're people making music they like, for people who like it as well. Jesus, not everyone in the world is going to have the same tastes, you don't have to bash.

  • @crassisdead i cant help but notice your comments on every awesome indie video as the overall top rated comment are you jesus or something????

  • @FistFullOfDavid Hahaha no, I am but a mere mortal, just like you

  • @crassisdead you're the man for that comment, haha.

  • @NotebookTracks Haha, thanks I guess

  • @crassisdead no problem, xD.

I actually sampled this song in an instrumental today. it's pretty sick, haha.

  • @crassisdead I know this comment is a year late, but neither bands are god tier anyway.

  • Comment removed

  • @crassisdead They should have called themselves cap'n crap honestly. They're a pretentious, sad excuse of a band that insults all other bands. Hell, even more of a slap in the face bringing the word 'jazz' into the mix.

Truth be told, it sucks. Bad quality too. Was the low volume on vocals intended? Oh, real cool. Artistic.

  • @MikeTheGuy00 Cool story bro.

  • @crassisdead I kinda agree, no matter how straight and how rarely often your mind is forced into the thoughts of gay kids rubbing up on eachother, the bass n drums do it every time lol

  • great song... 1 of the best iv ever heard

  • Yay!

  • thx 4 uploading, m8 (:
